Of all my 150-250$ b-ball shoes I always gravitate towards these. Love them and now they're super cheap. Picked up a pair at the outlet for 20 bucks. Best 20 bucks I've ever spent. 😂
If you ask me this is nothing but the Kyrie 8 with a different upper!! Being the last one i think it'll be a sought after shoe in the next few yrs...I'm planning to buy some kyrie 7's next week($150) before they selling for $200-$300!!!
Spot on! They do look like the Kyrie 8 a lot. I agree, I truly love the 7s, those are my favorite ones of the line. And some brand new ones definitely going to go up!!
They will trust, the bottom sole is mad thick. Only have to worry if you are a heavy toe dragger. Regular toe dragging should be fine, only if you toe drag to the point that the side of the shoe gets parallel to the ground, I do that but on very rare occasions. Just watch out when jumping high, make sure you bend your knees on hard landings or take a few after steps to dispersed the energy into the ground. These kinda look like the Kyrie 8 that never released, the same silhouette minus the extra cushioning. They'll be solid for outdoors 👍
@@jpalacesneakers ight thanks! My true size is a 12.5 and they only had 12 and 13 so i went with 13 so i hope they dont end up being too big. I Can always tighten up the laces if theyre a little too roomy tho. Thanks for the great review man
@BayVFX They won't be too big, Kyries are all a little too tight, they are narrow in midfoot. Everyone usually goes a half size up or full size (wide footers), I always go full size up. Haha I think you did make best choice by accident, especially if have narrow or regular size feet.
No doubt the KD Trey 5 X will work really well for indoors, good cushioning as well I like it. Kyrie Flytrap 6 for outdoors because the bottom is good for durability. Also like I explain in video just watch out for jumping too high with these because the landings can be tough. Hope this helps 👍👍👌
@@Amin-pn8vj Kyries in general are shoes that have real good ground feel, which means they will be very responsive since they are low to the ground. The midsole/cushioning system have a lot to do with this. The drawback is you can feel the ground a lot more, so when you jump high and land they can possibly hurt your feet/knees. That's why depending on how you land, bend your knees or take a couple steps forward to disperse your energy into the ground and not into your body, knees, or feet. They are still good just have to be aware of your landings. Hope this helps! 👍👍
@@Amin-pn8vj The Kyrie 7 for indoors: light and breathable yet sturdy and very good traction. The Kyrie 4 for outdoor: harder material for the bottom traction and the upper has more thicker materials so it will last. Perfect for playing in the mornings or evenings when the sun is not too hot.
Going to be a TIE for both of these. They both do not have impact protection for jumping/landings, very minimal cushioning or stiff feel. You are going to feel the ground very good, so that means they are going to be very responsive. You can feel fast with either one. For a heavier set player there is not that much cushion support, but if you are a regular size, thinner, or even shorter person these will work nicely. The traction for both can be used indoor or outdoor but both pickup dust. So with both make sure you are wiping the bottom of your shoes when playing, to maintain that really good bite - braking. For upper they are both very minimalist, yet I find both are very comfortable. The only difference is go true to size with the Precision 6 and go a half or full size up for the Flytrap 6 because it fits more tight. Overall, can't go wrong with either or, they both perform very similar. Choose the one that appeals to you more. Both fast and low to the ground, more plush look for the Precision 6 and the Flytrap 6 has a more stiff look and feel. Hope this helps Broskis 👍👍
I just seen this, for some reason it did not notify me. I'm a wide footer so I go a full size up, my feet are not that long so I have some room in the front. This shoe is more narrow in the middle thats why it's important to go up in sizing. If you decide to buy them go at-least a 1/2 size up or a full size (recommended). Hopefully this helps and sorry for the later response.
XDR means they are made with a more harder rubber for the bottom traction, that way you can use them outdoors. In China a lot of the models are XDR because they have a lot of outdoor courts. In the US you sometimes see XDR but not all the time, since there are many indoor courts available. An XDR tag does not mean it's fake. On the Nike online store, sometimes you can choose a regular bottom sole, a translucent sole, or an XDR sole. Any other questions feel free to ask away Broskis.
They are both good for dribble drive play style but if you're a high jumper the Harden Stepback 3 for sure (has more impact protection for landings). If you're not a high jumper either one will work good. For outdoor use, definitely get the Kyrie Flytrap 6, it's better for toe drags and materials are more durable for outside play and more breathable. Just depends what you are going to use them for. You can still use the Kyries for jumping but have to bend your knees when you land to transfer some of your energy into the ground so your body doesn't absorb all of it. Or take a few extra steps when you land to disperse your energy away so the landings do not feel as rough. And you can still use the Hardens outside if you don't mind a hotter shoe or if you are not an extreme toe dragger (you do not have to worry about ripping the side of the shoe if you don't really toe drag). See what fits for you and you'll be set Brother, hope this helps 👍👍👌👌. Don't forget to sub if you haven't!

I know I’m super late but do they run big or small or are they true to size
Run tight in middle area so everyone goes half size up if have regular/narrow feet or full size up for wide footers 👍👍
