How wonderful to hear someone thinking about ceramics in a deeper reflective way, I love this. Please make more, as there are lots of how to videos on ceramics which are helpful, but to hear think a more about ceramics in the broader context, is needed too. ps I want him as my tutor. Please add any links if you know of any other lecfures like this etc

What an amazing talk. Really loved the clarity and logic of the way this was presented.

Insightful comments on the seemingly simple cup. As a novice ceramics student, I find Pinnell's comments helpful. As I complete my assignments I will think more carefully about creating ceramic works and how people would relate to them. Thank you, Mr. Pinnell.

Very, very interesting video! I was immediately hooked by Pete's comments on the involvement of senses other than sight and the vice/versa inclusion of art in life.

Just loved listening. How many feelings and assumptions attached to a form.

NIce! Love a pottery cup collection and have my favorite cups for different beverages. Cheers to having a pleasant moment with the maker.

Fascinating presentation,...how telling a seemingly simple, familiar "object" like a cup/mug can reveal about us personally and many of the mores of society.

Pete is one of the best educators ever. And besides that he makes good pots.

It goes into experience design when you look at how it relates to humans socially. I want to become an experience designer but theres not much information on it unfortunately. Any information or advice would be appreciated :)
