I never thought of overlapping blocks and not staying in the lines! I looks cool. I’ll have to try that!! Perhaps if you want to use the stickers with the rounded arches at the top you could try whiting out the corners in the page so they don’t show??
Paris is AMAZING! Thankfully my daughter and I went in 2009 and we were able to visit Notre Dame cathedral before it tragically burned down. We heard the bells ringing from the towers as we were coming from the underground Metro. Chill bumps then and now as I remember. So blessed to have been there. That was our highlight BUT the Eiffel Tower was equally spectacular as it lit up and twinkled at night! Beautiful from the Seine riverboat! The trip to the top is unforgettable. I hope you make it there to enjoy the beauty it has to offer.
I went to Paris after graduating high school, went to the museum, and the main street. I remember the streets at night being like the movies with big stone blocks. It's no as glamorous now as it was, mainly because of the rat infestation and petty criminals. But the metro was the first I saw of the kind, and I am still so impressed by these human creations everywhere I see them.
Thanks so much for sharing about your trip to Paris! One of these days - I hope to see it. My parents lived there for a short time in the late 50s when my dad was in the Army.
