      Emrah Nas "Best ever? Not even close."
      Kind of implies that maybe in ALL of history there shouldn't be 10 boxers that were better than him. If that's not true, then maybe he was at least CLOSE to being the greatest...
      Let me know if there's something that you're not grasping though, and I'll try to tone it back to second grade level, so you can understand it.

    • @jTacticsBeats
      @jTacticsBeats 9 лет назад +11

      procioneintubato its my opinion, but I think he is the best in history during a small window, not his whole career, there are many boxing enthusiasts and professionals that think Tyson could have won even against Ali in that small window I am talking about right around his 20th birthday. He had a perfect boxing frame and a killer thug instinct that many did not, most greats were just technical without that survival mode, and he also had the hardest hitting punch of all time, against anyone he has a chance solely based on just that, if he could land a good one at anytime and knock anyone out its hard to say he wasn't the best at one point.

    • @facesmelt
      @facesmelt 9 лет назад +2

      jTacticsBeats I think Mike has his place, with that being said I think he is completely overrated. I've seen all his fights and he did great until the 90s. Then he dropped off, and he couldn't handle the competition at that level. So did he have potential? Yes. But I think there are at least a handful that are better than him. Ali being one of them. Foreman and Frazier being two others. There's a reason Mike couldn't take Holyfield, even after he had stopped boxing for years. He couldn't beat Buster Douglas either, and he's mid-tier. Ali earned his ranks against some of the best. But put 1988 Mike against any Ali and I think it would be a 50/50 chance... I think if Ali could survive the first 6-7 rounds without taking one of Mike's lighting quick left hooks, then he will probably take it by decision at the 12th.

    When I was a teenager watching Mike Tyson fights, when he knocked his opponent out within minutes of the fight that was normal for Mike Tyson. I see Mike Tyson's rage is power and everybody that fought him back in his early years couldn't keep up with him and every one of the jabronis that he fought hit the canvas and didn't get up in the 10 count and I expected him to knock all those people out after watching it over and over and that's what happened he became a knockout artist.

    yeah but you're forgetting something. tyson had a very unique fighting style. he had the peekaboo style and was very aggressive and fast and fought his opponents like they stole something from him. ali would not know how to handle that style, since it did not exist in his time. ali would very likely be overwhelmed by tyson. IF tyson danced around the ring like those other fighters, then ali woulld have a good chance of winning.

      Ali fought, and beat Floyd Patterson, who was trained by Cus. He also used the peekaboo style, but wasn't as strong as Tyson. The Ali vs Tyson argument is fun, but the truth is, we'll never actually know. One thing for sure though, is that Ali was notorious for beating big punchers. He struggled with Frazier, but Frazier was a notoriously slow starter who would get stronger with each round. Tyson fought aggressively from the opening bell and would get weaker as the rounds went on. I could see it both ways, but I just don't think Ali could get knocked out.

    • @onsenguy
      @onsenguy 2 года назад

      @@MZ-zu7wk Ali did not have the peekaboo style that Tyson had. They both had very different styles of fighting for sure. Ali would dance around the ring a lot and jab, while Tyson fought his opponent like he stole something from him. I would put my money on Tyson because Ali never fought anyone with Tyson style and aggression and power. I think Tyson would overwhelm Ali as he did with all the other guys he knocked out.
