@@Charlie-eq3dj Thank you for asking and I can honestly tell you amazing. At 55 years old, I don't see myself ever going back to my old ways. Am I totally fruitarian? Light and high vibes your way. Peace.

How is it changing your life? I’m interested! Were you raw before and eating vegetables too? Or did you go fruitarian straight from a cooked standard diet?

    • @billsmith3593
      @billsmith3593 2 месяца назад

@@delfinadungula8416 I was about 50 percent raw and 50 percent cooked but other than the occasional cooked vegan meal at an Asian Restuarant with my elderly parents just to be social, I am now increasing it to about 90 percent fruit and 10 percent cooked. I'm loving the raw nuts as well like almonds and cashews but not a whole lot. As I approach 56 it just makes me feel lighter and more free. I work as a Social Worker at a homeless shelter and I have a lot of negative energy coming at me every day. It seems to allow the negative energy to bounce off of me. I don't absorb it into my spirit. Higher vibes for sure. Also more levity and humor which is so needed in this world. Light and blessings to you!

I agree. I love the freedom of being alone and eating only everything I want because my body is wise and leads me to what I need. No one else around me is eating the way I do. I wish I could find a life partner who eats plants, but I’m 65 and my age peers all around me are killing their bodies with food and substances and I want to live.

Yes. When I was 19, and first living on my own, I thought upon how I could live while being harmless... what would I eat? I realized that fruit is freely given by the plants and trees, and then I could plant the seeds, completing the circle of life. So I started a nursery with many potted plants while being a fruitarian. A year later, I moved from Oregon to Hawaii where I live off-the-grid doing organic gardening in my mango forest. I have written many fully-illustrated books featuring the divine attributes of spirit and right-living in cooperation with nature. Aloha!

Oh my gosh - I loved this interview. Being married to a carnivore sometimes feels like being attached to an anchor. Even though we allow each other to explore our own path re: food. Yes, my foods are his sides, and he's okay with it - but, I can only imagine it would be so uplifting having a partner on the same page. We just have to accept those things we can't change.

I admire you for your tolerance and striving to maintain a relationship. Myself, as a male vegan, I could not be intimate with a female carnivore. I'm not willing to live with someone, intimate or otherwise, who does not share my core value of reverence for life. In a relationship, a lower value should yield to a higher value. Meat is murder, and eating it is destructive.

Gillian, have you read or experimented with the Medical Medium books and diet? I was a vegan eater since 1986 and then mostly raw off and on since 2001 and then i began to read the Medical Medium books....doing his protocols a couple months ago. Ive had many things improve already by his protocols such as the celery juice daily....his information about heavy metals and viruses and their neurotoxic waste is a game changer ....i struggled with pain med and heroin addiction for 10 years and then struggled the last 4 years to taper off of suboxone. One thing most raw vegan influencers hide is that they may have struggled with drug addictions as well. Ive been able to drop the suboxone more quickly due to the MM celery juice and diet when just a raw diet was not doing the job. Maybe you could interview him.... Anthony Williams. His recent two books on healing the brain have me coming out of severe mercury poisoning and addiction and overcoming hep C without pharmaceuticals as well as depression and ADHD and lots of anxiety.... Id love to see more people interview him. Just dropping that as a suggestion....

Our body always wants to heal and it will do it on its own if we let it.
I think all foods are toxic to the body, especially in today's world, some foods are just more toxic than others.
Organic fruits are the best we can do and least toxic and easiest to digest.
When we eat good fruit, it passes through quickly and once digested the body can get right get back to repairing damage. So if were going to consume anything it makes perfect sense that we eat only fruit and a small amount of soft greens. It's what we're built to consume.
I eat fruit only during the day every day and I would love to do a diet of only fruit but I still get pulled to the big salads for dinner 2-3 times per week. Love my avocados! And honestly I think all fruit would be easier in a tropical climate. I live in Edmonton Canada (cold winters) and first learned about fruits/raw from Dr. Morse. Over 5 years raw now, healthier than I have been in a long time, most of my heath concerns are gone and my family still thinks I'm nuts when I eat a pineapple for supper. I even brought watermelon to a Christmas dinner a few years ago and totally enjoyed myself! LOL Fruit Berries and Melons Rock!
Thank you for your videos Gillian and Happy Birthday!!

Its tough to make a total life change after 60 years eating a certain way...
Especially when SO MANY people say it WON'T SOLVE the medical issues I have.
Do you think it would help arthritis pain?
Do you think it could really take away the troubles I have from eating wrong my entire life?

    • @blakelivingston5130

@@barbieskates540 All I can say is your amazing body will heal if you let it. You just need to get out of its way. It wants to heal completely. Some foods promote healing and some do more damage than good. Some foods are meant for humans to consume and some aren’t. When we constantly consume foods that do damage it becomes impossible for the body to recover from the damage let alone heal previous damage.
Like you, I wish I had this knowledge sooner. I was 52 when I started this journey of looking for answers to my questions and truth that my doctor couldn’t give me. How is possible that humans, ESPECIALLY DOCTORS are the only species on earth that has no idea what their natural diet is?? It’s mind boggling. I blame it on corrupt governments, the Rockefeller education system and greedy corporations. When I found this information I was very happy to have found a solution but pretty pissed off at the same time. This should be common knowledge.
If you have big enough reasons to make the change, that should motivate you enough to keep at it. Don’t worry about what others think or say if they’re not supportive. I still remember my very first meal of oranges for supper, my wife thought I lost my marbles! It was super weird for me back then too but now it’s just normal and just try to lead by example.
My wife and I went out for dinner yesterday with friends to a steakhouse. Everyone else ordered prime rib and seafood. I asked the waiter for a green salad and make it as big as possible. During dinner my friend said to me “you know Blake, you are the strongest person I know, when you make a decision you stick to it” we talked about that for a bit but if you think about it, I was just eating what I’m supposed to be eating. I’m not really doing anything special!
Listen to Gillian’s interview with Dr. Doug Graham and read his book 80/10/10, he lays it all out. Learn from Dr. Robert Morse and Loren Lockman. There are many others. Keep listening to other people that Gillian interviews. Stay on this path Barbie, you’re on the path to Wellville!! ❤️

Not to complicate things... but there is also a lot of neutral chemistry in the universe. But I think acid/base thinking is good for many people to understand and simplify the crazy info out there. Also you can look at it like energy - or also you can look at it like wanted vs unwanted.
Arnold Ehert's energy formula: Vitality = Power - Obstruction.
And applying it to proteins: basically like she said, each species has their own proteins, and so when we eat formed proteins from other species plant or animal, we have to break them down to their individual building blocks [aka amino acids] to then create our own proteins. This breakdown process creates more acids and other waste products (aka unwanted) that the body wants to eliminate to maintain homeostasis/balance/health. And, of course, uses energy that could and would be used for other things like healing and regeneration, and mental/physical activity.

If you have acid reflux or LPR (throat reflux) then lower ph fruits will do this until your stomach acid is balanced. Try melons and see you won’t get mucus in the throat due to their higher ph.

I know for a lot of people certain raw foods trigger this and Sadhguru speaks on this too....for me too raw onion and raw garlic bring out more anger! I have tested it time and time again by removing and eating again...I still love them tho! but those and spicy foods are known to do that...how were you eating? if it's not that either at the end of the day you have to do what makes you happy:)))

Very interesting! I heard that on raw foods we detox emotionally (anger from the past) and also your vibration changes and your senses heighten which could overwhelm your nervous system and then you get easily triggered.
For me, I have to eat regularly and supply my nervous system and brain enough glucose and mineral salts throughout the day and I take B12 every day, which made a huge impact too
      Hope this helps ☺️

Also I was eating nuts (wallnuts, brazilian nuts, almonds) and for vegetables purple cabbage, cucumbers, salad, spinach, broccolis and some hummus with avocados. I was not 100% raw in fact I was having some black/red rice, bulgur, quinoa to help me in the transition. The first two months went on AMAZING, I had so much energy, felt so calm and light. I was thriving! Then after 2 months I started feeling so angry and irritable. I have to say that I was also changing job at that moment and I was stressed. Also, in that moment I found out on my blood works that I was anemic. So i decided to get back to a “normal” diet because maybe the timing was not right for me.
