    I lived downstairs from him in those days. He was a lovely man and an inspiration to me.

    I had this recorded but the tape fell to pieces with age. Great to hear this again and brings back memories of sitting in the bedroom with the finger poised over the record button on my tape recorder. I have so much to thank Mr Peel for. Met Ivor a few times - really nice chap.

    Anyone got the one about the mollified herring swimming over to god for a blessing? So many great memories of Ivor on John peel show,. Thanks for the upload.

      Probably but not sure if I have all tracks.. Suppose should just t up what I have... Will get around to it one day
