My favorite episode of season 1. It's really heartwarming that Bellamy loves Octavia so much. He'd do anything for her to make her happy. Octavia may not always appreciate what he has to go through to keep her safe, but if they reunite in season 4, I hope she forgives him. Octavia had a bad childhood, but Bellamy was the one who tried to make it better: he played with her, made her smile, and hugged her when she was upset. She needs to realize that he was always there and needs to appreciate him more.
Can we just acknowledge their mother for a second?! Omg! Easy birth or not, that took a lot of guts to do it by herself (yes, Bellamy was there, but what could he do about the pain?). She was on her own, and she did incredible. Hiding your kid for *years* takes more courage than anyone could ever imagine.. Yes, Bellamy was always there for here, and helped raise her. But one thing's for sure, their mother had some guts.
“Your sister, your responsibility” to a little kid. That’s unfair to put on them. Octavia spent her entire childhood wishing she didn’t exist. And can we talk for ten seconds about how traumatizing it is to deliver your little sister. And in the books she tried to end Octavia’s life so she wouldn’t get floated that’s messed up. She shouldn’t have had her if she was going to make her live that life. I don’t mean to be giving her hate, but yeah. She shouldn’t have made her kids have to rely on each other to that level.

@Amna Ashrafi Most of the main characters are 18, but Octavia is 16 and Bellamy is 23 and Charlotte is 12 almost 13. (In season 1). However the rest of the 100 range between 14-18. (Remember Bellamy was sent down last minute promised a place on the dropship if he shot the Chancellor, and Charlotte was mentioned to be the only 12 year old as 12/13 year olds didn't often get arrested, she was very disturbed).

+Amelia Rufus Actually, sometimes it really can happen like that (though, slower instead of popping out). There are instances in which the baby wants out and the mother can't just hold it in. There are videos of moms giving birth in car seats or on roads while travelling to the hospital even. But yeah, they didn't even bother extracting the placenta fluid from the infant's airway....
