I think about the class and caliber of a Wretch 32, Ghetts, Akala, Kano, Chip, Leshurr, Big Narstie, and the like… it’s incredible what they’ve accomplished, the impact they’ve had on the genre, the attention they’ve brought to hip hop and grime in the UK, and the height to which they’ve raised the bar 🤯. Much appreciation!
Props for including narstie in the list yanno too many sleep on big mans bars but he's up there with the best and been consistent for 20 yrs at this point. Not even to mention uncle pain and TV shows etc guys a icon in the scene.

To be honest, adding in Lioness, Tinchy, Tinie Tempah, and Scorcher, all those artists were my gateway into UK hip hop/Grime/rap. (Shoutout to Lady Sovereign for the first intro of grime - as far as we Americans knew - to the states)

i only came to hear levi's thoughts but im going to be honest, the man is talented always has been but i cant fuck with wretch anymore unfortunately, I cant look past nor separate the man from his music because in this genre of music/scene your actions and background give vindication to your music and Wretch just isn't a loyal and sturdy person, so i dont want to hear anything remotely about character, integrity or code of the streets from him, because hes the type to steak and sleep with his friends partners - why would i want to listen to someone like that? your words are without substance now and if you are wondering who he did this too its scorcher
