I gotta say, I really enjoy the translators. Emotional delivery when he is translating for the fighters. He look so full of passion and respect for the sport.
I was born and raised in Brazil until the age of 13 and I have been living in the US for 10 years now. My English is pretty good as well as my Portuguese, and I gotta tell you, the translator is not as good as you think. Fabiano is lowkey mid. He tends to forget what the fighters are saying half the time, he adds more, leaves stuff out, stutters A LOT, etc. Fabiano isn't bad, but he isn't as good as people think. My girlfriend and I watch the fights together and I translate what Charles says as he's saying it and she compares it to Fabiano and she notices the differences in translation. The good thing I like about Fabiano is that he tries to convey the fighter's emotions as well
@@emeraldworld209 Oliveira is easily better. He is a much more complete fighter with more creative submissions. Maia only got 14 submission wins unlike Oliveira that have 21 submission wins and he is still fighting to break records.
Man.. this translator.. it's a 3D immersive experience watching him. The intonation, the hands, the body language, the facial expressions.. he like 100% faithfully communicates everything and actually makes things even better that what Charles and Megan are giving him.
Lol yeah, and even the natural ways that he stutters or stumbles in moments where you and I might stumble or repeat a word, etc. It's all so natural and perfect. Truly an immersive experience as you said.

To the people who are saying he is not a good translator because he doesn't translate word by word - when it comes to translating a long sentence, a translator's job is to remember the key points and convey the message and emotion as accurately as they can. They even have to add some words of their own to convey the feelings (for example, when it comes to jokes, usually a joke of a language is not funny in another language, so they can't translate word by word. Instead they have to come up with something similar or simply say "He said something funny. Please laugh."). I don't know Portuguese, so I can't say how accurate Fabiano is when translating. But I am sure he is doing a decent job.
