Vote NO on Proposition 131 It makes a mess of our elections, and does not solve any problems. If the big money people are investing so much to pass Prop 131, then what do they expect to get from it?
Not every big money person is looking for power. If they wanted power they would have supported Republicans and Democrats. The people behind this are supporting it specifically because they want to see less concentrated power. There is little personal to gain for those supporting it other than of a more stable democracy.
It solves numerous problems, and implements policies that have been used to moderate elections around the country. The Dems and Republicans are the strongest opponents - that should tell you a lot
Lol. Yes. If by what you mean Democrats you mean the organization. Because in this case the current system benefits Dems and R's equally. The general public not so much.
Would have liked to hear what other groups besides CO Dem & Rep parties are not supporting 131.
