People hating on PDM for taking a turn towards mass appealing vs some oud doo doo niche smells. I think Perseus is awesome full bottle worthy. My girl told me when I sprayed it on that is a BJ instigator. Since then I have gotten numerous compliments from women wherever I go. Hate all they want, they can stand in the corner with their ouds while Im on the dancefloor surrounded by the ladies lol. Great review and vid

It just smells so good on skin especially the drydown phase (didn’t think dry and clean could be so addictive). Couldn’t stop smelling myself after sampling it and have now ordered myself a full size bottle.

So glad I didn't just jump on the hype on this (and jumped on the hype of something else instead lmao). Please please please get your nose on La Cordee by Moncler. Bubbly italian lemon soda (shout out Lorina) sitting beside some refreshing green tea. Got that ultra-realistic kind of wearing experience that Jo Malones tend to have. Calming and uplifting as hell, true smile in a bottle. One of the most versatile fragrances I've ever smelled.
I ordered it on decantx! They didn’t send it out cause they sold out but they’re sending it once they’re in stock again, I’m super excited to try it.
Bought a sample of this. Glad it was only a sample. Sprayed it, gave it away, right away. Guess im not a vetiver guy at all.

Decent scent with amazing performance, but for me it’s not worth anywhere close to retail. Under $200 and it’s a good buy.
Haven’t smelt this yet but I do find it hard to justify $400 for a fresh scent when a $100 designer will do the job equally as well and I can keep the $300

Pdm,Initio is niche cause of the oils they use. They make fragrance safe that people will like. Lot of people call them designers niche because of that. It just doesn't make any sense to me. They make several fragrance that is nothing but pure niche

Niche fresh fragrances by an large are overpriced as they either don't smell special/unique enough or the quality isn't substantially different.Exceptions are
Mancera-Cedrat Boise Intense(Similarities with Aventus/Ani not the same),Aoud Lemon Mint(profiles very unique)
Roja Parfums-Apex,Midsummer Dream,HPH,Burlington 1819(arguably the best freshie from the house)
Montale Herbal Aquatica and Oud Island to name a few
I’d put Roja Oceania, BDK Citrus Riviera and Fragrance Du Bois oud bleu intense in there too.
But as a whole, fragrances are very overpriced especially those not using natural materials. I personally don’t like paying high prices (£150+) for citrus dominate fragrances because they’re so easy to clone
All niche fragrances are overpriced and all fragrances smell like something similar thats already been created; including niche sweet fragrances. Most niche sweet fragrances smell the same too and are not even of sufficient quality to appeal to the average person's nose more than their sweet designer counter parts (Azzaro Most Wanted, Le Male, One Million etc will get you the same or sometimes even better reactions than Side Effect, Carlisle, etc). Sweet cold weather scents are just some vanilla, rose, oud, ambers mixed in different ratios. Just like fresh fragrances are just white florals, citruses/fruits, musks & woods in different ratios. Neither fragrance profile is objectively "unique" from other fragrances in their respective style...the only difference is niche fresh fragrances usually smell easy going and inoffensive whereas niche sweet fragrances tend to smell more intrusively perfumey, but that doesnt mean theyre more unique, by any stretch.
@TrustedNose I agree on Oceania haven't smelt the other two need to get my nose on them.Also you should try BAHAR from Spirit of Dubia that's a Underrated fresh banger with complexity.
