I was rocking with it during the first half of cour 2 but it lost some steam at the second half imo. Seeing squad 0 do shit was cool and all but we all know they're inevitably falling so it felt like empty flexing, but I get that that's a kinda roundabout way of looking at it
@@josora1654 it gave a better idea of the power they were up against and made the quincy look like a legitimate threat. instead of seeing Squad 0 lose like a bunch of buffoons and made you question the legitimacy of their "most powerful squad" moniker, which in turn just made me question, were the quincy strong or were the shinigami just a clown show. the flex, even if ultimately futile, was a needed addition.
kinda glad the animation is gonna make up for how bad the second invasion arc of thousand blood war was story telling wise.
