I have an ASUS VS247 set of monitors (only 1 connected to my MSI GE63 9SE laptop) and neither will come out of sleep mode when I reboot (and display) until I push the input button on the monitor. It will go blue screen and say the input method when I reboot, but before the pc, boots the monitor will go to sleep and the light goes from blue to yellow. After the laptop boots, everything is active, even the monitor, but it won't wake and display. It stays like a black hole. I have tried every fix I can find, but I can't find a single setting (anywhere) to allow it to recognize that it needs to show my extended desktop without a physical button on the monitor. It IS on though. It get's the signal for my extended screen and shares my pictures screensaver, but won't display anything until I wake it with the button. Why doesn't the mouse make it wake up?! Is it just that stupid that it will act like it doesn't have a signal, even though it does? I know the pc and cable aren't to blame (directly) because my photos (or any web pages) will go to that screen even if the light is yellow and it's not "on", but again, nothing but pushing the input button will let it wake to the input it already knows was the last one it recognized. It doesn't change itself no matter what is plugged into it. Basically, I'm at a loss. Nothing in your video was the answer, and there aren't any special functions in the monitor menu or my bios that you didn't ask about. I just can't believe there isn't an answer for this. I have never had monitors that don't turn on the display, whether primary or secondary, but these just won't!! Plz help.
When I fixed initially the second monitor was working, then after shutting down and restarting after some time it is showing as monitor going to sleep....
I connected my Dell laptop with external Lenovo display D27 model. The power indicator is keep on blinking and after few hours its turning off. Fed up with this monitor. Actually the monitor is working fine. The problem is with sleep mode. Tried with buttons on monitor no use. Im using hdmi cable.
I'm using Windows 11, ver 24H2. There is no Power Troubleshooter. When I go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters, the Power Troubleshooter does not exist.
thanks load...... i was struggling so much in terms of setup. when i checked your video, it says first to check the cable connection, it was looooose... lool. just replug n work wonders
Thankyou soo so much. The very first thing.. POOR HDMI connection was the prob. And when i refixed it.. Viola! worked like a pro.. THANKS a 1000000!
You’re welcome… glad it worked
The fact that none of my monitors will wake up is crazy. We have virtual reality video games, AI and advanced iPhones but a monitor won’t turn on
Changing the power option settings worked, thank you bro
You’re welcome 🙏
