GSDs are all the same. They can be as goofy as they are smart LOL. Sometimes, I wonder if they don't play the goofies on purpose, just to make us laugh. Best breed ever !! Always had and have GSDs by my side. My actual one, a big black and tan show line (but not the hypertype) boy (110lb) decided that EVERY kitchen devices with an engine (bender, mixer, etc...) are his personal ennemis but ONLY when it's my wife who uses them. As soon as he hears the cupboard opens for my wife to reach for one of them, he turns in full protector mode. He jumps, barks, runs all around the house to rally each and every one of his plush toys as a backup (and he got quite a lot, a true hoarder lol) and he brings them in the kitchen and throws them at my wife in an attempt to protect her from the evil blender. He calms down only when my wife stops using the device and then he sits with all his toys, proudly looking at us, smiling, as to say : "Did you see ?? I scared the evil sounding machine !! I'm the goodest boy, am I ?". He got a treat for his bravery (and for the laughter he gives to us every time.) Cooking is very fun here LOL
