- For the first time ever, Bitcoin may be closing a 2 week candle with a 40% loss from open to close. Now we can no longer say that new people to the space have not been through a proper drop. When I found Benjamin, I immediately got smarter and sold all my ETH on the 'dead cat bounce' at 2500 and bought back at 1800 this morning for a tidy profit... because of Benjamin's more sober outlook. If I kept watching George, I would have lost all my ETH. No doubt.

Very Small $ of BTC. Felt GREAT when Polygon was hitting $2.90 and said shit, I bought the good one but paid $1.70 for it. Then the Crash. And I was like WTF, SHIT!!! Bottomed today and did some selling and buy back in for 1500 more Coins. That felt good and we are over a buck. Still got a haircut of 30K and I hope Alts rally just as hard as BTC recovers. watch out for ETH opportunities, 2 months ago 1 BTC is 30 ETH, then the crazy ETH rally made it 13. The recent dip saw it back up to 17. Seems ETH is losing some water weight, Im waiting to see the best time to buy ETH with BTC. Nv watch USD prices, its useless, always watch BTC/ETH prices.
You’ll be ok. Markets eventually exhaust sellers and buyers and the markets must reverse in order to keep the price yo-yo going
I agree; no "V-shaped" recovery. I've been watching financial markets for 35 years; and when the price of an asset drops this far, this fast, it almost never just shoots back up right away. So bitcoin could potentially spend several weeks (or more) in the range of $30K to $40K.
Yea, I believe the fear news has to die off and peoples opinions need to be restored before we see another rise in bit coin.
A lot of things in the narrative need to be changed.
I'll be happy with a few more months of this. I'm relatively new to the space, but I believe I hold solid coins and I'd like to accumulate a few more bags.

If you hold for at least another market cycle you’ll be up far more than 50% anyway so it’s a good trade off

We are holding the 314 day moving average as support, it was what stopped the crash a few days ago, and it seems today we are going for a retest, pray to god it holds!
Well there is always the 500 day moving average.
If that fails we can definitely rely on the 1000 day moving average🥵

That's why having funds for the dips is so important, and not blowing it all on the first dip or two, is equally important. Ladder the buys, because sometimes, it might be a 7 layer dip!!! 🥑

If you measure FIB-levels from 2012 high to following low you see that btc after the first peak corrected down to the 1.618 fib level.
This happens again this time. if we take the fib level from top 2017 to low. We see that we are now again at the 1.618 fib level.
I hope this pattern holds true again. It would suggest 184k BTC top this cycle at the 2.27 fib line on the log scale.

The market cap doesn’t mean that’s how much “money” there is in there.
With 500million you could move the market cap of a 50 billion dollar asset by a larger amount than 500 million.
More than likely, 1 trillion hasn’t been “withdrawn”. It’s probably closer to 200 billion or less.
There are safer places to invest which is where it's going.
Lots of it will be institutional money going out then straight back in when it hits about $28k.

9:12 I actually 100% agree with this. Not based on TA, but based on psychology. The lower it goes, the more new people will be attracted to putting their money in thinkin it is the deal of a lifetime. the more new investments means more people that are going to be in for the gains and not want to sell off until they are at least 2-3x on what they put in.

I needed this. I thought I was no suited for crypto because everytime I bought in at a good price, it would go up and then crash down and take me out. Good to know this isn't the "norm" right now. I understand that dips and corrections are a part of crypto but this was really rough to go through. I'll be much better equipped the next cycle.

If you think V shape recovery is not gonna happen, you're basically saying the bull run 2021 is done, BTC will consolidate until next year, then it will rally up again at some point in 2022. Am I right?
Imo, if we still think the bull run isn't over yet in 2021, then BTC gotta do the V shape recovery. Otherwise 2021 is not the bull run that we have ever seen in the crypto history. Because in the past all major alt coins pumped and made new all time highs.
I think that is exactly what he is saying. It is not his saying the bull run is over, by every single metric data points, the btc market no longer behaves as if it is in a bull run, therefore we are no longer in a bull run. Therefore we need to treat it as a bear market until proven otherwise.
What I think we need longterm is moving away from this cycle and bitcoin stuff. Don’t get me wrong I kind of love it but If you think about it it is like saying oh GOLD is down thats why AAPL must follow. It makes not much sense. (GOLD is Bitcoin, AAPLE Eth or whatever)

What’s 30k Bitcoin among friends
I recently discovered this channel and immediately got smarter. l sold all my ETH on the 'dead cat bounce' at 2500 for what I bought it - watched the resistance at 2400, then 2300 and lower and bought it all back at 1800 this morning for a tidy profit. Benjamin's more sober analyses helped me think like a cold-blooded sniper. Glad I stopped watching those other hopium heads who bought ETH on the dip for 2190 and 2100.
