About this series:
Patch Tennis pits a pair of synths against one-another. In each episode our counterpart challenges us with a performance of a patch; we then create a patch on our synth in a similar style, that would have a similar function and perform it as our response. Finally we create our own patch to challenge our counterpart and the process repeats. The goal is to demonstrate the workflow and features of the synths, as well as their respective strengths and weaknesses and the sounds they make. This, hopefully, gives you a real world view on how the synths compare that goes well beyond the spec sheet.
