However, could I squeeze in one extra shot with the index finger? Maybe, I've never seen it done but it's worth working towards. Back in the early 90’s my dad used to get VHS tapes of Bob Munden demonstrating this technique. Your the first guy I’ve seen on RUclips doing it right.

I even bought him a Shiloh Sharps Sporter #3 Rifle .45-2 1/10” (not a Quigley model since he doesn’t shoot the holy black) for his 70th. I knew he was worried about mature eyes and minuscule peep sights, so I fitted it with a full length Malcom-style scope.
Initial, thumb, little finger. That's how he does it. Initial: the first shot was already primed and hammer was ready to fire. Thumb: thumb ran over the hammer to prime it again for the 2nd shot. Pinky or smaller finger: ran one of his smaller fingers over the hammer to prime the 3rd shot. Took me a minute too. Really slick, clearly took some training.
I actually had to watch this 20 times to figure it out, awesome technique! Hammer pulled back initially for the 1st shot then fire, off gun hand thumb pulls hammer for 2nd shot then fire, then the off gun hand pinky pulls the hammer for the 3rd shot. Super impressive work!!
Thanks for the clarification. The slow mo is a few frames short so it is not readily apparent that two fingers are on play. It looks like the middle shot happens when the hammer is to the rear.
There would be better ones actually, if all you had was a revolver you would be way faster and better than he is. He is just better than s as lot of people now a days because the need for that skill is practically gone. I bet you gunslingers in the west could hit head shots like this on a consistent basis. Doesn’t compare. He spends hundreds of hours and can do this twice before reloading. The reason semi autos are dangerous is because morons can pick them up and dump 7+ (up to whatever your mag holds) in a few seconds then put another mag in. It’s the ease of use without any preparatory work that makes them dangerous.

Doesn’t compare. He spends hundreds of hours and can do this twice before reloading. The reason semi autos are dangerous is because morons can pick them up and dump 7+ (up to whatever your mag holds) in a few seconds then put another mag in. It’s the ease of use without any preparatory work that makes them dangerous.

I screen recorded it, he shot 3 shots in around .22 seconds, equating to around 261 rounds a minute, only 2.2 times slower then the world's first real machine gun. Impressive.
Ha Ha Thanks 😊. This was a great triple shot but I have done it faster. My short "SAA Fastest Handgun in the world" shows a triple around .17.

Did you mean that the world's first real machine gun was 2.2 times faster than this dude; or did you mean this dude is 45.5% as fast as that first machine gun - or did you really mean he's 2.2 times slower and, therefore, doing the math, his gun is firing (or I guess taking or walking back) negative 1.2 rounds in the same time it took the first machine gun to fire 2.2 rounds? In your math world, this guy is shooting himself with negative bullets.
3 shots per 220 ms gives 818 shots per minute.
