It is the people’s involvement, actively speaking out, gaining momentum and numbers that is likely to make change. Jesus could have been born a nobleman and decreed His superiority over everything, but that would have not been change from the heart. Many people have suffered and died for their faith. We can become more active in the parish by attending meetings and speaking with the parish priests. Change doesn’t happen by itself. My recommendation is to work on mental prayer (what some might call contemplation or meditation) also, spiritual reading. There are some high quality audio books of this variety that are great to listen to while falling asleep at night. Years ago, I was very caught up in the affairs of the world. The audio books changed my life by degrees but rather quickly. I think it is important that the reader has a lot of talent, otherwise you will naturally find the material less interesting.

I am a priest because I felt that God has called me. Having lived and studied in Rome for 9 years I also know that the Vatican is not the Holy place it is supposed to be. But what can we do. I am not a priest because of the Vatican, and I also don't doubt the work and presence and assistance of the Holy Spirit that continues to guide the Church in our times. I always get my courage and hope from the story of Jesus crossing the sea with his disciples on the boat. Jesus is present in the boat, even in the midst of the storm. He never abandons us. The disciples were frightened, and rightfully so. We are in a very stormy and difficult period of time. The Vatican is not the Church. The Cardinals are not he Church but we the people are the Church. Even if we have little faith as Peter, he was still able to walk on water with his little faith. We must never doubt the work of the Holy Spirit. We must never leave the Church because of the failure and sins of some Bishops and Cardinals. It is up to us now the keep the boat floating and it is up to us to direct the boat to the other side of the shore. We need courage and grace to be the light of the world and salt of the earth. And let us keep praying for our Church. And please pray for us priest's as well, because we realy need your prayers and support. May God bless you all.

I'm one of the parishioners who stopped going. I went back after a year of not attending, for 2 weeks, two weeks ago. Of course after going to confession. But I haven't gone now again for 2 weeks. Tbe church does not seem holy as it once did after I converted, back in 2004, from being a Lutheran. Here, a woman sings with a guitar and there are girls in flipflops on the alter. The entire "celebration" is to me, so underwhelming and irreverent. The priest speaks of things in homilies more often than not, that do not teach the truth or the faith. People like protestants with their hands in the air. The music, protestant hymns of "Amazing Grace" which confuse Catholics. Women who are aged and balding not covering their baldness before God, if He's even in this mass. Its a sad state and just a routine that people do on the weekend, if they go at all. There is no awesomeness power of God in the NO mass. I will have to go back because its all we have.
@@richardsayer58 - They are basically all the same here in west Texas. Odessa has a Latin Mass once a month, in the evening, in a dangerous neighborhood. I as a single person in my mid 60's will not go there. There is a SSPX mass 2 or 3 times a month in Midland, about 55 miles away. I'm not sure if I should attend that Mass either. Also, that mass is always either too early in the morning or too late. I have night blindness and cannot drive at night. So I'm stuck.
Having cantored at 3 different parishes for years, the Corona virus and the priests who succumbed to the governmental interference has literally impoverished all 3, and has destroyed the music program. All of which is part and parcel to satan's plan to destroy the Church, as permitted by the Almighty since a wager satan made with Him to do so within 50 to 100 years was accepted by the Lord. One thing is problematic with this theory. We passed the 100 year mark, significantly, in 1984. So we can conclude one thing, i.e., He is giving us every opportunity to pray to Him and do penance in the ancient formula provided by Christ. Failing that, and, under the incessant influence of the media like a B.F. Skinner box, we are driven away from such remedies, and ensnared in the temptations he has had millenia to master, i.e., pride, anger, sloth, greed, lust, gluttony and envy, we find the citadel of our souls overrun by the enemy. Nobody is even aware of the central tenet of Catholic Faith, i.e., life is Spiritual Warfare, as St. Peter says in his first Epistle. Unable to cultivate the defensive and offensive tactics necessary to fight this battle, we who leave the Catholic Church for any reasom also throw away the Prime Weapon, the Eucharist, falling into the same demonic trap He warned us about, i.e., "Except you eat My Body and drink My Blood, there is NO LIFE IN YOU." Hence, we are the functional living dead zombies that spew from the minds of Hollywood producers to rub in our noses due to our sins of Pride. Pray the Rosary.

I bought your book, Dr. Marshall. I am amazed at how much research you did to bring your message forth and how organized the book is. I only have about 75 pages or so to go. It is EYE OPENING. Wow! And with what you talked about on this video and previous ones I have seen (also in the themes within the book), would you say that we are currently living in the days of the 3rd secret of Fatima and the great apostasy that was predicted so long ago by those kids? It makes me sick to my stomach that such evil runs rampant within the halls of The Vatican. It’s kind of like kids that dream of being a congressman or congresswoman and they finally get there only to have their dreams dashed away when they are exposed to the secrets and lies that run rampant through the halls of Congress. Is there any truly holy place left on earth? Lord Jesus, come quickly.

My recommendation is to work on mental prayer (what some might call contemplation or meditation) also, spiritual reading. There are some high quality audio books of this variety that are great to listen to while falling asleep at night. Years ago, I was very caught up in the affairs of the world. The audio books changed my life by degrees but rather quickly. I think it is important that the reader has a lot of talent, otherwise you will naturally find the material less interesting.

I am a priest because I felt that God has called me. Having lived and studied in Rome for 9 years I also know that the Vatican is not the Holy place it is supposed to be. But what can we do. I am not a priest because of the Vatican, and I also don't doubt the work and presence and assistance of the Holy Spirit that continues to guide the Church in our times. I always get my courage and hope from the story of Jesus crossing the sea with his disciples on the boat. Jesus is present in the boat, even in the midst of the storm. He never abandons us. The disciples were frightened, and rightfully so. We are in a very stormy and difficult period of time. The Vatican is not the Church. The Cardinals are not he Church but we the people are the Church. Even if we have little faith as Peter, he was still able to walk on water with his little faith. We must never doubt the work of the Holy Spirit. We must never leave the Church because of the failure and sins of some Bishops and Cardinals. It is up to us now the keep the boat floating and it is up to us to direct the boat to the other side of the shore. We need courage and grace to be the light of the world and salt of the earth. And let us keep praying for our Church. And please pray for us priest's as well, because we realy need your prayers and support. May God bless you all.

The Holy Ghost is the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, Who proceeds from the Father & the Son, and is the Spirit of Truth just as Our Lord is the Incarnate Truth, Itself.
Our Blessed Savior sent the Holy Ghost on Pentecost Sunday to vilify the Church as the Soul of the Church & to ASSIST the Church to preserve it, the Church, from teaching error regarding Faith & morals. As Catholics, therefore, we have the assurance that the Church will not teach error or mislead regarding Faith & morals, for if the Church has faltered, then it has DEFECTED, which is contrary to the Faith.
Conclusion: since the Church has never faltered & hence never defected due to the infallible assistance of The Holy Ghost, the contemporary modernist church, which claims to be Roman Catholic, is a fake, bogus church because it's ministers lack the assistance of the Holy Ghost.
They are teaching thins which are not Catholic. . . . it can't be any clearer than that. The have the places within the structures & occupy places of illicit authority, but lack the Holy Catholic Faith.
So, it's not really a question of restoring Latin or even the Traditional Mass, but of the Full Restoration of the One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic Faith.

Attendance at Sunday mass is down over 50% at my Novus Ordo parish from pre-covid levels. Anyone else seeing a drop in attendance?
I'm one of the parishioners who stopped going. I went back after a year of not attending, for 2 weeks, two weeks ago. Of course after going to confession. But I haven't gone now again for 2 weeks. Tbe church does not seem holy as it once did after I converted, back in 2004, from being a Lutheran. Here, a woman sings with a guitar and there are girls in flipflops on the alter. The entire "celebration" is to me, so underwhelming and irreverent. The priest speaks of things in homilies more often than not, that do not teach the truth or the faith. People like protestants with their hands in the air. The music, protestant hymns of "Amazing Grace" which confuse Catholics. Women who are aged and balding not covering their baldness before God, if He's even in this mass. Its a sad state and just a routine that people do on the weekend, if they go at all. There is no awesomeness power of God in the NO mass. I will have to go back because its all we have.

@@richardsayer58 - They are basically all the same here in west Texas. Odessa has a Latin Mass once a month, in the evening, in a dangerous neighborhood. I as a single person in my mid 60's will not go there. There is a SSPX mass 2 or 3 times a month in Midland, about 55 miles away. I'm not sure if I should attend that Mass either. Also, that mass is always either too early in the morning or too late. I have night blindness and cannot drive at night. So I'm stuck.
Having cantored at 3 different parishes for years, the Corona virus and the priests who succumbed to the governmental interference has literally impoverished all 3, and has destroyed the music program.
All of which is part and parcel to satan's plan to destroy the Church, as permitted by the Almighty since a wager satan made with Him to do so within 50 to 100 years was accepted by the Lord.
One thing is problematic with this theory. We passed the 100 year mark, significantly, in 1984. So we can conclude one thing, i.e., He is giving us every opportunity to pray to Him and do penance in the ancient formula provided by Christ. Failing that, and, under the incessant influence of the media like a B.F. Skinner box, we are driven away from such remedies, and ensnared in the temptations he has had millenia to master, i.e., pride, anger, sloth, greed, lust, gluttony and envy, we find the citadel of our souls overrun by the enemy.
Nobody is even aware of the central tenet of Catholic Faith, i.e., life is Spiritual Warfare, as St. Peter says in his first Epistle.
Unable to cultivate the defensive and offensive tactics necessary to fight this battle, we who leave the Catholic Church for any reasom also throw away the Prime Weapon, the Eucharist, falling into the same demonic trap He warned us about, i.e., "Except you eat My Body and drink My Blood, there is NO LIFE IN YOU." Hence, we are the functional living dead zombies that spew from the minds of Hollywood producers to rub in our noses due to our sins of Pride.

Despite all this, I left the LDS church to come home to the Catholic church I was baptized in 52 years ago as an infant. I felt called back to the Catholic church. I ordered all the books you suggested in your how to become Catholic vid to refresh myself.
