+Cecily Erker Was just about to say the exact same thing in a post. Its a fine & underrated performance, to be sure, but she truly completes it at the end (with her haircut, glasses & all). _LOVED_ that whole time frame of he very late '70s to first half of the '80s music scene on the two coastlines.
And the one who says their music is so sophisticated, which is exactly what he was going for - music with the energy of punk only much more musically sophisticated.
0:49 is a mood. Danny: "AÄHH!1" Steve: *cLaNG..!...* and proceeds to cower from the sound they both just made 2:02 Danny: *a sound similar to switching to a static station on the radio with your volume cranked up, but then quickly switching back to the tunes station*
He quit the boy band and got a grown up job writing boring songs for movies that don’t even have words in them. Maybe he’ll have a late mid-life crisis in his 60s when he’ll get tattooed and start doing the rock star thing again.
The last time I talked to Johnny Vatos, he said that Kerry and Danny were very competitive as far as musicianship. Now Kerry is the owner of a Landscaping Company in L.A.
Elfman is such a maniac. His stage movements and facial expressions are so cool. You can tell he feels the music in his soul.
I love how he bounces around like an autistic/ADHD kid.
That’s his genius showing
I saw Oingo Boingo in Los Angeles in 1981 & he had the same face
He’s so FINE OH MY GODDDDD
I love all the shots of the crowd and the one new wave chick who said "I think they're so sexy!"

Steve Bartek just shared this on FB :-)
I’ve Always Enjoyed Oingo Boingo! (I’m Originally FROM Los Angeles.),
Whenever I get down,I think of all the great times I had in 1980.
Look how young! Love this...thanks for posting.
Highland804 Yes, so young here. Only about 180 months old, Danny was, barely out of diapers, and already rockin' like a big boy!🍼🍭🚼
@@lisaparker4688 never ever say that again

Tom Hiett he went nearly deaf for his fans.. then because a movie composer... and grew older like we all do.
Is was somewhat of a rhetorical question my friend😉

He’s right handed.
Hello! I know you lurk around on anything Oingo Boingo related, but I was wondering if you had a collection of your own Rarities/Bootlegs?
@@Razor12704 No I’m only 32 all I’ve got is my aunt’s record which I took a picture of for my avatar

I'd like to know what happened to Kerry Hatch....
The last time I talked to Johnny Vatos, he said that Kerry and Danny were very competitive as far as musicianship. Now Kerry is the owner of a Landscaping Company in L.A.
Kerry was awesome. Once he & Richard Gibbs left, the actual music became pretty typical in my opinion (still fun, just not unique anymore)
Danny elfman es muy fuego y oingo boingo es muy bien
Yo no entiendo el Espanol muy bien, pero Usted dices la verdad.
