hardware kits I use: amzn.to/3J3Tc0a
I love the way that mower articulates and the way it hugs the uneven ground for a smooth cut. Plus, the width is a big plus.
I agree. Also like that it doesn't leave clipping windrows.
Nathan, you know the saying, “The man who dies with the most toys wins!” I think you are well on your way to a championship! Great mower! I could have used one like that when I had a grass runway on the farm for my airplane!
Speaking of runway...the mower even sounds like a turboprop engine at cruise speed!
Hi ,you picked yourself a great volume Mower . I was in the turf industry for 25 years a we have been using these mowers to cut out rough and large areas. Great Articulation and very cost affective also you can disconnect and use the tractor for other Purposes. Stay safe 👍👍 🇨🇦 Craig
Nathan that’s a fancy mower you have and the red cabinet was an Awesome find for sure
Glad to hear you mention that the parent company for Laztec is Woodmizer. That means a lot to us Hoosiers. How about installing an electric jack on your trailer. For as much as you use it, it could save you a lot of hassle and time.
I just thought the exact same thing 💥
Finish mowers always sound like airplanes and they eat fuel--but nothing makes me happier. They do a very good job on grass.
I think that I speak for many of us here when I say; "I'm not afraid of hard work.... I can watch it all day!"
That sure is some beautiful country you live in my friend
Wow that is fantastic! It's like a mechanical spider with blades. Outstanding articulation and the way it turns and follows when you turn the tractor. Very nice Nathan.
Seems like I have seen Robert Milton from Hobby Hardwoods use the fluted stickers. He didn't mention them specifically, but I did notice them when he was stacking his boards.
What a great looking piece of equipment Nathan & it does such a great job too. I have to say it, I love your 'spare parts centre, I think a must for anyone in your position. Cheers mate, Don from South Australia.
Can you imagine trying to talk to the geek that designed this? I like the way it articulates behind the tractor.
I know the guy he is no geek
Nathan, when it comes to doing the mowing you have time for means cutting down on time spent on it 😮😊❤
Absolutely!!
I used to work at a golf course that had 2 of those. When they work they're handy, but between belts and bushings they are very high maintenance.
I’d say you bought a Super Time Saver Nathan! Looks like it does a great job! And that slide music in the beginning is wonderful! You can’t beat that Mississippi Delta Blues Style Slide Guitar! Kind Thanks and Many Blessings! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Great job Nathan, that's a fantastic mower for sure. Just what you needed to take care of your property and keep it neat. Stay safe around there and keep up the great videos. Fred.
What a deal i really like Lastec mower......Thanks Nathan.....
Shoe🇺🇸
That finish mower golf course quality reminding me of a neat or hornets 🐝 sure do envy your hardware choice and selection.
hey Brian!
Now cutting the grass is just fun. The only problem is, you need more lawn! LOL You wont be out there long enough to get bored. Great purchase!
Nathan I love that Lastec XR 700 mower you bought. It’s really nice and looks like it does a great job. Enjoyed the video. Thanks 👍❤️
Thanks 👍
You could open pitch and putt golf with that nifty new mower
That’s a great looking machine! Big time saver. And it ties a really nice looking job.
Think I’ll go buy some stickers.
Hey Chuck!
But it's a real beast.
Have fun and enjoy it.
Oh my god this guy is fast at cranking 🥳
I was just at my local lumber dealer yesterday, and they use the fluted stickers. I had not noticed it before, so I asked about them. They get all of their fluted ones from overseas with their exotic orders. After 20+ years in business, they have all they'll ever need and even sell them.
Reminds me of the unfinished 18:37 yacht hulls shipped from the Far East in teak crates. Took years but customs folks finally realized the crate lumber was worth at least as much as the hulls.
@@robertbamford8266 I work with a lot of exotic woods now. When I lived overseas, they were local, so it was great. Woods like padauk and bloodwood are construction lumber in parts of east Asia. Several rosewoods are merely decorative construction, like using cherry instead of oak (though with prices today white oak may become the decorative). I try to find as many importers as I can and take any "scrap" pallets that they throw away. That stuff is great, especially if it is first use.
WRT big box 2x4s, you’d also have to source the spf logs.
Wow! Grass eatin machine!
Yes, thanks
Thank you, Sir
Nathan, wow that is a quiet mower and the width is awesome. The sound reminds me of being a passenger in a big airline plane. Congratulations. John here from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
MM77 Approved 👍🏻👍🏻
Love the way that thing contours!
They aren't mistakes; they are life lessons.
Nice! Real nice time saver!
Thanks! 👍
Lastec makes a great mower. Very heavy duty! Love mine:)
I've got a lumber sorting, sizing, and drying yard about 1/10th of a mile (basically my neighbor) from my house, and they use the flutted stickers. They have a machine that makes them from scraps they cut off boards when cutting them down to demensional lumber.
Perfect pick for a wide area mower. After fist few mows you should be able to pick up ground apeed to cut down on mowing time unless you enjoy it like I do! Great time to flush current events. Enjoy your channel Nathan.
Great point!
Really good points on stickers. Now you need to get into the dos and don'ts of stacking wood for drying. Lots of bad habits out there and there are some really good printed works on drying available from the education systems
👍
Nice machine. It'll probably be another month before I have to start thinking about mowing up here.
Snow this week 😂
hi there nice mower . when you adjust the height i do believe like in a circular saw there should be lead , the font of the blade should be about 1/8 lower than the back of the blade , pretty sure of this ,but check out whet the mower calls for . mice mower best to all john
I like the terrain following ability of the mower. We don’t all have billiard table smooth paddocks.😁 No scalping!👍
That’s a very interesting mower! Never seen anything like that! Seems to work good and has a nice cut finish from what it looks like.
hello Nathan & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Nathan & Friends Randy
Nice mowing attachment 😊 We used hemlock stickers. We sawed a lot of hemlock, so we had plenty of scraps to make stickers from.
That is awesome!
Man, that is nice. You've got some of the coolest toys out on your farm 😊
WOW. that's a great mower. Good to make your neighbors jealous. Technology often controls productivity.
It sure is!
Keep the grass as high as possible with the mower. Less brown spots due to lack of water, sunburn, etc.
I can't find the bundle cost but 1x2x8' are $1.58 each. Cut ,dried and ready to use . You're not burning your fuel ,time and wear and tear on the saw mill . I worked for a guy who thought we could buy 1x 6 , cut it down to make door frames then router out the hinges ect and buy a blank door which would need holes drilled for the handle and latch and hinge pockets cheaper than you could buy a prehung door .He also thought a man could hand nail plywood down faster by hand than by using an air nailer.
Neat mower & quiet too. Definitely a winner.
An earthquake felt here in NY reset the video. The Rembrandt is fine but the Ming vase hit the floor.
Hey. That looks like a big ole creepy mechanical black spider 😮
👍😂
Looks good. Your going to have people wondering if your starting a driving range for golf soon.
😂😂
Nice set up.
Thanks!
thx
Sweet!😊
Looks great!
Thanks!
Nice mower 👌
Thanks 👍
Very nice mower! Definitely a time saver.
That looks like a giant articulated ant from a sci-fi movie! Eek!
Now all you need to do is make stripes, like Wimbledon. ;)
PS. Please tell Woodmizer that I want one. Though I only need one that's about two feet wide...
That new mower should save you a lot of time on yard maintenance sense you have it now.
Nathan, with you being so busy and all, I hope the stress doesn't cause you to accidentally hook up a plough, rather than the land rake, to your tractor, when you go to touch up your gravel drive. That probably wouldn't go over well, with Mama (and I'm not meaning the cat, either, ha, ha!).
Hi Nathan, according to google a 1x2x 8’ white wood furring strip is $1.58! That in Charleston WV
thanks good to know Bruce
nice mower , Nathan.
My goodness. You're a regular greens keeper now. Got any tee times open for Saturday?!😆
Thanks for sharing.
You bet
stickers are spacers
Nathan's son is going to make a fortune cutting grass for the neighbors in the summer. "l'll do your 5 acres for $500, and I'll be done in about 45 minutes. Cash only."
How about comparisons to other NFL cities such as Buffalo? Their stadium is in Orchard Park. How about Dallas, and so on. Place all your arguments about the Browns being under a Dome in Brookpark (still Cleveland as the rest of the nation will see it) against established teams and their stadium locations in their large cities.
Nice piece of gear Nathan. Does it fight you at all or with that 754 do you not even notice it behind you there.? The cut looks very smooth and even as ell. Is there a lot to adjusting that with the three decks involved or is it pretty simple?
I can't even feel it behind me,
Theses are sold as "strapping". Drywall is attached to them so they don't need to be pretty. For lack of better words it's cull lumber sold cheap but with a purpose,
you need to talk to mike M about this he is cutting his own and using them green seeing how he is so picky about his stacks
So why did you use those tine extenders? Are you aware of how to work out the weight of you proposed fork loads and that using the extenders is likely to damage the forks if used with a heavy load where the main weight is near the tips of the forks. Many do not know what the designed weight distribution is for their forks, and regularly overload them.
What's the recommended speed at which you can mow with that?
Still figuring that out
Did you tell us how many blades ?
👍
Uncrating with a chainsaw??!?!?!? AW, dude. That's cheatin'!!! 😁✌🖖
What happen to the chicken coop siding I have been waiting patiently
Soon
Don’t forget to protect your head from those UV rays you were worried about ….
Did you not have to cut your PTO shaft to length
I did not
Hi again Nathan, that is a brilliant bit of kit, could I ask a favour? Could you pop over and do my back lawn, it’s 18’ by 32’, cheers!
en route
You're gonna have to mow off camera soon and tell us how quick!
Hoarding does not apply to tools.
Right On, dude!!!
