I've found a kindered soul. T-T My love is mint and chocolate, but my goal, when I joined the fashion, was to get a wardrobe of dresses in every colour. I finished my mission just a couple of months ago. I'm at about 48 dresses, now, and have my rainbow of dresses and tea parties.^^ LOOOOVE your wardrobe, btw (my dream dress was Chess Chocolate in mint and FINALLY found it and the bonnet last summer, and then the KC back in November)!!! My new dream dress is actually the mint or chocolate colour way for Sweet Cream Princess (in either the JSK or OP), so it's super awesome to see someone who has it!
Ugh I can relate to problems washing brand 🙄 Not staining in my case, but shrinking even in cold water and the colors fading. Honestly, I think dry cleaning is the way to go for dresses that cost you $100 - $400. Treat it like an 80s power suit because it kind of is a power suit. The power of Kawaii!
Oh my goodness you have such a lovely wardrobe everything in there is so beautiful one day I will own a mint chocolate dress paying for my pain medication and stuff makes it hard but one day I just know it
Oh I love it! Chocomint is one of my newest fav combos! 💖 I would love to get the melty chocolate jsk if I could! I use ones in super bad or stained condition to practice my alteration skills, I think for that one you could do a really cool piece with a new bodice and some built in chiffon overlays on the skirt to kind of “hide” the staining without losing length of the skirt, vise versa you could trim it and add on a tier to the top, introduce another shade or color even. ☺️ cream would be nice, could and trim off all the mint and redo the whole piece, salvage all the trim and chocolate print.

I'm that one person who goes out of their way to find dresses that have stains because I find ways to wear them. It's how I got my Sugary Carnival. The fading was really bad, but the seller was selling it for really cheap and I fell in love with it the moment I opened it. The OTKs and the dress/KC don't match anymore, because of the fading, but I truly do love it. But, again, I'm that weird person who loves buying pieces that have stains and fades (I intentionally buy the most busted looking stuffed animals because I just think, "Hey, they need love, too!"... yes, I'm a sap. XD). XDDD

I love mint x chocolate but I'm picky Abt my mints lol For your melty whip, I personally unbutton or but the back part of the strap, like a single cut across then sew on elastic to the back and strap, it's more discreet and makes it so I can zip it all the way, and it's easily undoable for resell or whatever ~ and it does make it larger in the bust and waist (: just thought I'd share since I do it to basically all my dresses since I'm a bit busty lol
I’m picky too about my mints but have loosened up a bit 🤣 if I knew how to use a sewing machine, I would! Unfortunately I only know how to hand sew and I’m not that good at it lol
