The abject horror i felt during the first few minutes of this episode was frankly impressive. Poppy morphing into Lily was soul crushing in the most entertaining way.
The campsite looks so good! I think cosmos instead of roses would elevate the rustic look even more!! Hope you get to find more flower variations!!
I can't stop talking to my family about this series. Like, even though I'm not doing a DIY only challenge, I am playing the game kind of as intended. Not skipping time, not going to treasure islands (and not trading). I'm just a few days into my newest attempt and I always get so overwhelmed thinking how i could never make mine look like some of these I see on youtube and pinterest. But your campsite looks so great and I COULD do that with what I have. It's so inspiring. Thank you, there's not enough like this on the internet for people like me.

The way you decorate the campsite and plan out this island gives me this wholesome feeling of actually being able to build something like this. Also it's kinda nostalgic. My first island during the first lockdown looked like that. I didn't have nintendo online, I didn't bother with creating my own designs, I was deep into minecraft, my time and portia and stardew valley so I loved everything with crafting and I wasn't overwhelmed by the yt ac content with all these downloadable patterns and incredible builds which required a huuuge catalogue.
I love seeing insane themed islands. But it always made me question my own island and made me dissatisfied with my building choices and abilities. But looking back my first island (which I named after my little sister) had more soul and love than any of my later, themed islands.
Throughout this series, there have been a lot of references to water. First constructing the massive canals and their source rivers up in the mountains. Then a discussion of creating a whole fountain area by the entrance. And then a conspicuous well at the campsite. My personal lore that I made up for this island is that Dan's character is some kind of bottle water magnate who has grown wealthy from stealing and reselling the natural spring water on his island. Also, I guess it's really important to stay hydrated when your island is named after whiz.

i’ve been tuning into this series since your day two video, i haven’t missed a day yet. i love the challenge your doing, and it honestly inspired me to use some more diy’s on my own island. it brought a little life back in it for me. so thank you & i can’t wait for the next episode 🩷

This came out so good! I got back into ACNH these past two weeks and have finally decided to redo my campsite and shops. They’re the last two things I haven’t “finished”
Today has…been a day. Very much appreciating the consistency on this series, being able to wind down with you even when the video might not be normal wind down is wonderful and i’m personally really loving this whole thing you got going on!!
You've done it! Youve officially convinced me to get off my butt and transfer my island to my new switch! I've been meaning to do it for a while now but it just always felt like a hassle. But I've done it! And now I can get back to finishing my island!!!
The campsite is so cute, so nice to see a complete build on the island! You could also use weeds or glowing moss to add to the campsite to give it a bit more spice (:
I'm excited with all the building starting! You should visit another Kapp'n island (with an empty inventory) but I can't wait to see how Gee Whiz turns out!!

i suggest using the stone and arched stone paths alternating for stepping stones if you don’t want to do custom designs!

I like using the two stone paths and change their shapes a bit instead of using custom designs, you may be able to fit two there and by rounding them off to create some triangles? Although that may end up feeling a little cramped and you're limited with placement :(

I love your campsite .... even tho I have a five-star island, mine is severely lacking. I have been trying to do other things. Like do 30 homes at HHP so I can fix some villager homes. But honestly, I don't think that will matter because I have been kicking a bunch out. I have a goal now of collecting photos LOL. I originally just got the game to keep myself busy until Hogwarts was released and got a little addicted. HA .

You should steal some bushes off of HHP, I feel like that would help with the look of your island. I like this challenge, thinking about doing it myself, as I don't really utilize the crafting in acnh.

Technically local play is not Nintendo online, so you could go to another island that you have and get extra DIYs, fruit, flowers.

the frying pan item would have been superior if they had an option for just one fried egg in it. it would've become a million times cuter. i don't use it because i don't like any of the customization options. 😔

Im pretty sure you haven't checked the island rating in a while, why are you putting it off so much?
Well it doesn't really matter that much. Checking it to see that it's still 3 stars or maybe even 2 stars (thanks to the lack of flowers) doesn't change what I'm going to do on any given day. My plan is to decorate the whole island one way or another. 🤷♂️
I think i stole poppy from coming to your island cause I started a new town on new leaf during this series and Poppy was one of my first villagers... I'm so sorry
