  • This is my first dinosaur purchase from TNG, and I believe one of their original works. And I have to say it is very pleasing indeed. I love this small little dinosaur, and this one has a beautiful paint job that does justice to those famous browns and whites.

    Wow, this figure looks huge. I thought it was just another small figure, but this seems so fine and beautiful. TNG is another up-and-coming dinosaur and prehistoric mammal toy figure company, and this Sinosauropteryx marks their grand entrance to the scene. And I'm sure our collectors will welcome TNG with arms wide open. I haven't seen this figure anywhere else, and this is the first review I've seen. So thank you so much, my dear sir, for this amazing review. I wish you a speedy recovery and look after yourself. Be safe, and take care. You are the best. 🖤🖤

      Thank you as always! I am recovering enough to get that dental surgery end of the month lol! So I expect no videos during that time, and might as well try to get as many out as possible or it will get delayed forever.
      It's appropriate you say "this Sinosauropteryx marks their grand entrance to the scene." While they have offered smaller models before, those seem to be based off other offerings, and the few I have have not impressed me at all. So we'll have to wait and see if TNG offers more original models!

    Congrats, impressive piece, Sinosauropteryx is the sort of animal that would be out of the question for PNSO or HLG to release now due to its small size.

    • @DinosDragons
      @DinosDragons  Месяц назад +1

      Yes, at least unless both companies decide to deviate from their usual 1:35 (claimed at least!). It's a pity though; PNSO has shown how well it can do fur in past offerings that didn't bother about scale too much. I wish it would return to some of that, but I guess they're headed in a different direction now. HLG...maybe! They seem more open to listening what the market is asking for.

    Wow! Another dinosaur that I never known before! Thanks man, I learned a lot about this "new" dinosaur with an unique color pattern and an awesome model ❤

      I'm glad to hear that! This one is really a fascinating dinosaur, and one that started getting me interested in at least _some_ theropods. What is exciting for me is how much of it is known, that even relative lengths of different bones can be stated with certainty, at least at this growth stage. Read up more on this... you will be absolutely fascinated!

      Thanks mate! But this is a cakewalk compared to the dental surgery I'm due for in late Sept 🤣 It's flu season in Asia 😢😢

    I love Sinosauropteryx, also have the little pnso one. Wanted to get this one, but the loose jaw is sort of a deal breaker for me :/
    Aside from that it looks great.
    Thanks for the review!

      The loose Joe is really a shame I also own the excellent cryolophosaurus from TNG is such an awesome model but they need to work on the jaw joints

    • @perspectivamesozoica

      @@SiamSentin3l yeah, and this model in particular would be just fine without an articulated jaw. Shame. Sinosauropteryx is one of my favorite fossils.

    • @DinosDragons
      @DinosDragons  Месяц назад +2

      It is quite unfortunate, and even if it was perfect as an articulation, I still wonder at what is lost by allowing for a joint and therefore, bulking up that mandible 😢

    Pose is very reminiscent of the little PNSO figure, it is quite nice and also like the base and bug!

      I believe using the rigor mortis as a live pose has become almost a kind of trope for this dinosaur!

    Es una buena figura! ☺️ Yo no esperaba que TNG lanzara un diorama 😮 ojalá y continúen sacando más figuras con diorama, por ejemplo, algún pterosaurio o alguna criatura marina 👀✨
    Me gustó el trabajo del pintado y la escultura en general! 😁👌 Es una lastima que se haya repetido el mismo problema de la articulación de la mandíbula que ocurrió en su Quetzalcoatlus, ojalá pronto mejoren en esa área 🤙

    It's beautifully made but I don't like the pose. All I see is a carcass laying on the ground before fossilisation.
