In my opinion, there’s a lot of developmental QBs in this draft: A majority of guys who need time to sit and learn, be backups, but can develop into serviceable guys.
The actual Senior bowl game is a terrible evaluation tool. Most scouts understand this. The defense has a major advantage because the offense doesn’t have time to prepare with what you actually need to run a high level NFL offense. They mostly want to see how the kid is in person at those practices.

I completely agree with your Ewers/Rams take. Sit and learn behind Stafford for a few years (similar pocket passer style). Plus, McVay knows a thing or two about developing QBs and taking advantage of what they do well.

More often than you would like, Ewers takes a half second too long to process how the play was developing....only to then throw a low-speed ball. He is so talented but he does not seem to trust his ability. He's lofting when he should be throwing lasers.

QB3 is Dillon Gabriel. Not saying he'll be drafted 3rd ahead of others, because he's not due to his size, just that at the end of the day as their NFL careers proceed, he'll be the 3rd best QB from this draft. Maybe even the 2nd best. I said the same thing about Russell Wilson (a selection which Kiper called a wasted pick due to his size) in that draft. He wasn't the 3rd QB taken, he was the 6th. But at the end of the day, he became the 2nd best QB in that draft, and the only one to win a Superbowl. These same 2 clowns had Carson Beck and Jalen Milroe as QB1 and QB2 with Shedeur Sanders QB3 and Quinn Ewers QB4 when they did their first mock at the start of the season. Meanwhile if you look at my comment from that video, I had Cam Ward as QB1 and Shedeur as QB2. And at which order are they now?
One of these non Ward/Sanders QB’s is going to have a big pro day and trick some team to pick them in the top 10 aren’t they? The fact Ward and Sanders seem likely to both be top 3 shows how overvalued QB’s have become in the draft. Teams just get stupid about QB’s when draft time comes.
Sanders going in the top 10 is nearly a crime. I can almost guarantee he’s gonna bust out. If a team takes either guy over Hunter the gm should be fired.

QB 3 should be a 5th rd pick because QB 1 and 2 are no better than 4 th rd picks. Tyler Shough IS the best QB in this draft he is 25 with numerous injuries. You cant waste a top pick on a QB when 26 might break the record for most 1stcrd QB's. Green Arkansas is 5000×'s better than any QB in the 25 draft.
Ewers is going to be at best he wont move fast enough he has to process faster and he will then throw lots and lots of interceptions he needs a line that will protect him he wont move fast enough

He’s a late day 3 undrafted free agent type of guy. He just doesn’t have the physical tools to play in the nfl and he is also 24 so he probably is what he is going to be.
I'm going to wait till Chris Simms launches his QB rankings. He tends to be the most accurate in terms of who is the best QB but also where other QBs should be ranked based on tape and analysis.

Cause Jalen Milroe will be great running those shifts and Motions because he can run and open it up for De'von Achane and throw short passes to Tyreke Hill and Jalen Waddle when tua is out. Quinn Ewers can be a great backup on the titans.... But titans decide where this draft goes...and need to look for a generational quarterback sometime in the future... Cause their isn't any in this draft...
This is not s great QB class. Milroe is a great athlete but is too mistake prone. Ewers has been hurt every year since his junior year in high school. Minus his year at OSU where he was the backup. I think Dart from Ole Miss has a chance to be decent.
