- Since the stream yesterday I've had a lot of successful P-rank runs. Here's my fastest time right now and I'm pretty proud of some of the kills I got there, especially on the double insurrs.
Got his in before the changes to make P-2 12b update too!

@@penguinbenguin Sisyphus' punishment for pissing off the gods from greek mythology is to roll up a boulder/rock up a mountain, but it's impossible to do so.
One of the many different reasons as to why it was impossible is because the rock/boulder would become heavier the further he goes up.
Also the Sisyphus insurrectionists have a rock attached to them

I just realized that when sysiphus busts outta the panopticon, you actually get "big fistkill" on the style meter
It's because you get style bonus depending on the last weapon you've used on panopticon
So, if your last hit was rocket, you'll get +Exploded

@@Xephoriah It doesn't open unless you've encountered the boss at least once. Anyone playing P-2 for the first time will still need to fight through the enemy gauntlet.

@@Dstryrr yes, I am aware of the concept that sysiphus is happy with fruitless, futile effort. Indominable human spirit and all. What I mean is that even if sysiphus dies, he dies knowing something more powerful and anarchistic than him will likely go on to do pretty much the same thing as him-that being toppling the empire of heaven. You'd imagine the character's motives would be changed with the addition of blood-fuelled robots and the complete and utter destruction of humanity, the probable death of God, and heaven falling into anarchy

Dealing damage to him will make him say things like "Yes, that's it!" or "Keep 'em coming!" in a clearly excited tone. While he can't know for certain what V1 intends to do, I would like to think he imagines V1 is more or less just going on a rampage on everything, and that that will eventually take them to Heaven -and if V1 could kill both Minos and Sisyphus, I also imagine he is confident that V1 will at least give the armies of God a hard time.

Calculated, not even close.
Almost every game is designed to prioritize 1 hp to make it more intense. You can take lethal damage and if it's one or two points in it becomes 1 hp
In case of ultrakill i must disagree. In the video before V1 got 1 HP left, he had 31 HP and survived Sword spin atack from Swordmachine that deals 30 damage. Also from all my playtime I never caught myself in a situation with 1-3 hp left after lethal enemy atack. Ultrakill is not that type of a game to sugarcoat incoming damage

and also respect for learning his attacks and not just abusing dash storage
A little trick for the idoled mindflayer: if it's far back enough in the hallway you can shoot it with the screwdriver railcannon, then run into the arena. It'll lock it out of the arena since it can't teleport in, and if it's far away enough it'll be unable to phase into the room. This way you only have to deal with one mindflayer hunting you down, and once that one's killed you can kill the mindflayer outside of the arena with coins and projectile boosts.
The goat is back also would love a series about how to efficiently deal with lots of heavy enemies as the level design is going towards that heavy spam direction and maybe your thoughts on srs Cannon

I just finished this level for the first time, completely spoiler free and in one sitting (D 133 restarts). I was on call with some friends and the amount of times I said "say sike right now" with a look of pure incredulity and betrayal on my face was completely unreal. I can't imagine how loudly Hakita was cackling as he meticulously crafted this truly despicable gauntlet. P-1 was a warning. P-2 was a funeral. Sisy was sexy as fuck though so I can't really complain.

I'm a new fan of the game, I've played for around a month and a half and I was able to P-rank the game a couple of times already, my record in p-2 brutal so far is 4 : 28. Is that by any chance a good time for a personal record in such level?
What I like about this vid is that I can actually make out whats happening on screen, as opposed to other p-rank videos, where it looks like the author was high on caffeine while recording
I might be wrong, but I think killing panopticon is actually slightly faster if you don't attack it until the yellow bar underneath its health fills up, since it dies as soon as that bar is empty. Or rather, any damage dealt to it before that bar is full is essentially wasted, so it's best to save your saws until then.

Does the patch make P-2's boss easier? I didn't look through the entire patch notes but I only saw that you can perry the bosses second phase on violent
The parries make the second phase significantly easier, but it's still a considerable challenge, especially when you factor in that they patched dash storage and increased Sisyphus' second phase stamina

Man p-ranking this on violent is already pretty tough, but can you imagine what this would be when they release the higher difficulties. The thought of trying to get a p-rank on p-3 on ultrakill must die when it comes out would just be pure insanity

This is easier to do with the full arsenal update but still a challenge. As the alt shotgun can make quick work of big enemies and the conductor nailgun can wipe out whole arenas of enemies

Also at about 3:28 looks like he did something with the knuckleblaster, what was it
Scrongled is a type of kill when an enemy falls into those blood pools I believe. Red and Blue are on the same bind, I just swap really quickly.
Nothing happens with the KB there, I just held the punch for the shockwave for a little extra damage.

Oh my god I finally P ranked P-2 on Violent difficulty. I spend like weeks dying to the level over and over even dying at the last second. But after trial and error and LOTS of frustration I finally got it.
Mindflayer CBT section was harder than the Sissy fight for me 😅

P-2 introduces four new Style Bonuses that can only be performed in this level.
The first is +SCRONGLED, which is displayed upon throwing enemies into the large river of flowing gore, in the Bridge Arena.
The second is +ENVIROKILL, which is displayed by throwing enemies into the blood in the spiralling tunnel. However, it does not show up on the style meter.
The third is +SCRONGBONGLED, which is displayed upon throwing enemies in the pool of blood underneath the elevator that leads to the final arena.
The fourth is +SCRINDONGULODED, which is displayed upon throwing enemies in the pool of blood that lies along the shortcut path to the final arena.

Man, although it took me like 200 tries when I beat Sisyphus I didn't realize I was on his second healthbar, I thought I was still on the first. But I couldn't hear his final speech because of the damn nail gun alternate clattering around... Too bad there isn't an option to turn gun sounds off, and just have the voice.

On the side walls in that area, there is like a sea of blood or something that teleports the player back to the ground, it also instakills enemies that fall into it (other than the idol-mindflayer). You can use it to kill the 2 insurrectionists that spawn also when they jump
im glad to say that i watched this live
