Lenny is one of my favorites from SRV. I believe SRV would absolutely love Kingfish's version of Lenny. I hope he can some day breakthrough to mainstream radio

The bass sounds outer worldly along with guitar play. This version takes you on a journey.

That's my favorite guitar he plays. I wonder if it has nubs on the bind of frets or had them at one time. I want to play my les paul so bad right now.

Imessurable God given talent. In my mind he has passed Hendricks
And he does it without a bandanna
Full of Acid. What a likable and humble guy, his mother has got to
Be the proudest person on earth
And I am his second biggest fan

What do you call it when the guitar hits that note where you can hear the metal in the drumset rattling?
You can't get that off no record

Totally agree- was going to post that myself. He's a great player and singer- but Lenny on a LP just doesn't do it...

@@jakobvalko561 You're right- it's a Les Paul copy- my bad- I guess I should have put LPC so the brand nazi's wouldn't shout- 'cause we all know that guitar doesn't sound JUST LIKE a fuckin' Les Paul...

They say single-coil pickups let the player's "personality" come through.
Humbuckers do distortion better (thicker and more sustain) and are quiet.
      Players should own both types.
("Sultans of Swing" needs that Strat, single-coil sound and "Money For Nothing" needs a Les Paul, humbucker sound.)
