    I got filler on my nose once. And I noticed the tip was a little purple in about 40 minutes. However a had to scrub in to surgery and be the time I was done, the area was worst. I got hialuronidase inyected only once. There was a 4 hrs delay. Lucky after almost one week the skin started getting beter. It was a terrible experience.

    • @danestheticsmedical

      Great question. It’s only a small chance they will react. If that client really wants filler, you should advise them of the small risk of an allergic reaction. They can have a patch text done in your office (make sure you’re prepped with an (epi-pen) or you can have them tested by an allergist.

    @1:43 'The chances of you directly injecting filler into an artery is very slim probably about 1 in 100,000..so the chances of going back into that same artery with the dissolver such as hyaluronidase are much less than 1 in a million, so the beauty of hyaluronidase is that all we have to do is put the product around the vessel and it'll penetrate through and dissolve the filler'
    Hi Dan, I don't quite get this about the statistics. Why is the statistic showing that it would it even harder to inject the dissolver into the artery (say the filler is blocking it)? If an injector knows exactly where she/he has injected the filler, then wouldn't it be quite easy to know where to inject the dissolver in?

      You could use these, but I generally only use hyaluronidase and warm compresses. Dilating a vessel with medications may only dislodge the filler and go somewhere much more dangerous (brain, heart, eye). If it’s an infection I’d use antibiotics. Granulomas: antibiotics + injectable steroid.

    Hi. I don't recognise my face after hyaluronidase. I had my third injection in the left nasolabial fold in September. And my cheeks on both sides have reduced, as well as my side temples and cheekbones. Looks like the contour of my face has completely changed and I look 5 years older. I just turned 24. I regret so much. It's been 3 months and not much improvement... She told me the doses after I emailed her multiple times about my concerns. First session in june 25iu in the left nasolabial fold and 20iu in the right. In july 35iu. And in September 40iu in the left nasolabial fold. To me this makes no sense. Why would you increase the dose of hyaluronidase when the quantity of hyaluronic acid should be smaller after each session.

      Thank you so much.
      My inflammation is going down.
      I am scheduled now to dissolve them.
      You video is the only one I found so helpful.
      Thanks again

    I don't understand how you're getting 500 units from drawing up 4ml if it's 150u/1mL? 4ml gives you 600 not 500.

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical  4 года назад +2

      You would see the results within 24 hrs. But hyaluronidase is active for up to 48hrs. For non emergency cases, such as dissolving a bubble or just an area that’s over filled, I would wait 2-3 days before adding more hyaluronidase.

    Total noob here but if hyaluronidase is 150IU per ml then 4ml is 600IU. 500IU is 3.33ml repeating, plus 1ml of lido is total 4.33ml in a 5ml syringe.
