  • I purchased all 3 Central Pneumatic 11 Gauge Coil Roofing Nailer variations from Harbor Freight. After testing all 3 I found that you will definitely want to stay away from at least one of them!

I purchased one of these guns and changed the trigger so I could bump and run, opposed to pulling the trigger for each nail. You can just keep the trigger down and run. I had great luck with mine.

Thanks and I'm glad you found this video informative. I may end up doing another video with the roofing nailers in action if I get some requests.

What’s the model number for the one on the right and the middle one as well?

Do all three have adjusters or just the center one? Why do you think it did not perform as well as the one on the right?

Magic .Mark all three roofing nailers allow you adjust the nail coil height. However, the left and right models use a plastic mechanism while the center one uses metal. The roofing nailer on the right side had the least amount of misfires and was most consistent with the nail head depth. For these reasons I preferred the right model. However, the middle model was a close second.

I have an older model #41209. It worked fair for the first two years I used it, then it just sat on the shelf for 15 years. Yesterday I needed it and I get one nail then air hissing out of the top. HF no longer sells it or supplies any parts. I took it apart to find that one of the parts, the top bumper, was made of MDF. It had decomposed over the years and the entire unit was filled with greasy sawdust. I can't speak to the newer models in your video, but this one was clearly designed to fail.
