True story. I was working in a call center when this song came out, and they played it all the time through the company sound system. The four girls who sat in the last row next to my row used to always place their customers on 'hold' whenever this song came on, because they wanted to sing along with the track. One day I decided to join in and have some fun, so I placed my customer on hold as well to sing to. I didn't sing the entire song just the hook. This went on for about 2 weeks. The manager started to notice that when this song played through the company sound system the 'hold time' increased. One day as I went back to my customer after singing the hook to this song the manager came to the floor. He looked at me. Trying to figure out who was singing. I was talking to my customer and grinning the entire time. He caught three of the other girls though. He was pissed. He stopped playing 'dangerous women'. The song was hurting his call center stats. We all laughed real hard at the afternoon meeting we had before the shift ended. 😂😂 True story! Couldn't make it up even if I wanted to.
