@@ayaankazi8308 it literally caught the shadow force, so how could it have a defense buff without using obstruct?
@@TylerSmith-ds8qh he used obstruct multiple times previously before catching that shadow force and hence obsta still had increased defense
@@ayaankazi8308 Wtf?? When you swap out, you lose any stat changes... there was no increased defense... JFC.
Bronzong is one of my favorite Pokémon you love to see it
Just a suggestion to GL but think about. Lanturn: Water gun, surf thunderbolt Clodsire: Poison Sting, Sludge Bomb, and Earthquake. And lastly Shadow Regice with lock on, focus blast, and blizzard. I tried this team on PvP poke and had 95/100battles won against meta. If you do try this, go and plz mention

This makes me wonder if Armored Mewtwo could also have some play in the current meta? Haven't seen one of those in a while either.
Can work since it deals with Fighting types like Virizion but unfortunately will get outpaced by many pokemons like Swampert Giratina Jellicent who just happen to be quite tanky and spammy so it can work but just not against some pokemons.

In my eyes it makes no sense to run Last Resort on Umbreon. If I remember correctly it’s a clone of Psychic and Psychic allows you to hit Fighting and Poison types for super effective damage. Scrafty, Bisharp, and Mawile are about the only Pokemon I can think of where you would need last resort
In the Bisharp matchup, because of the steel subtype, Foul Play is probably better than Last Resort right? Since they’re both single resisted but Foul Play is spammier and has STAB
I just remembered Last Resort is better against any dark type. I still feel like Psychic is the better move to run though
@@liammccoy385Ya I’m not sure what I was thinking with the last part of my comment lol. If both Foul Play and Last Resort are resisted you would go FP. I should have just said Dark type opponents are the only time LR makes sense
You need Last resort for all dark types in the UL (Scrafty, Goon, Umb, Mandi), which are all very common and while Psychic can be decent, it's usually not worth it, especially since after the Psychic nerf (-5 dmg, so it's not a Last Resort clone anymore)
Last Resort is the only good neutral option and Psychic is not really needed. Sure Psychic will counter Virizion into shield pressure but that is honestly the only good thing of having the move but against pokemons that resist dark types like Fairy/Fighting/other Dark then Last Resort is the recommended option.
While Psychic does do damage against Poisons the problem is most poison pokemons you run into on the UL are mostly dark subtyping like Skuntank, A-Muk, Drapion etc so having Psychic really serves no purpose unless you want to force shields off a Virizion as a switch trap or just fighting types in general like Hitmontop Machamp.
