  • It's Day 16 of Vlogmas! We'll post a video each day through Christmas! Today, we visit downtown Tryon, NC, a very cute and vibrant historic mountain town with fantastic shops, galleries, and restaurants! Tryon is a perfect town to visit as a day trip from Asheville, NC, Hendersonville, NC, Brevard, NC, or Greenville, SC! We loved the restaurants and shops we visited, and will definitely come back soon!
This is our life in the mountains, in Hendersonville, NC (near Asheville, NC, Brevard, NC, and Greenville, SC) in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come hang out with us as we kick off the Holiday Season!

Those theater doors look more like Art Deco from the 1930s. I bet the building has an interesting history.

My grandfather R. E. Brantley bought the theatre after it burned in the mid-1930s and ran it and B & B Chevrolet until his death in 1971. He was also mayor of Tryon and a senator.

10! With emphasis! Hah love it! 20 years is great! 🎉 ❤
Fun fact, Tryon is the birthplace of Nina Simone, beautiful soul singer and civil rights activist in the 60’s. Love your vids, keep them coming! Pearsons Falls would be a good one, beautiful

Looking forward to moving the Asheville area from Dallas, TX. Debating living in an rv and just living like a nomad in different spots and campgrounds.

We love your area so much, I can't believe we haven't explored there more! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos! Oh thanks, it's a handy and hardy purse - it holds a lot and doesn't mind a bit of dirt! I got it in Chimney Rock at the Outfitters when green items were on sale that day! :)

Great info on the purse. Thank you.
The movie theatre in Tryon is as adorable inside as outside.
Also up the road from Tryon. In Columbus is our favorite coffee shop. We do what you do small towns. Coffee shops and bookstores are our thing. Bakeries too haha. But Open Road coffee shop is excellent and has a nice selection of healthy snack options too.
Thank you for the great videos. Was glad to see you found Pearsons Falls brochure. Since our viewing is a family event we all have thought it could be a favorite place for you! Seriously the bridges make you feel like you’re in a tale from another world.
