- The new expansion for World of Warcraft has been announced... not only that.. but the next three expansions!!! The first of those being 'The War Within'. If you preorder the Heroic or Epic edition, you get access to the new Algarian Stormrider Mount and a new transmog set, Stormrider's Attire with special lightning effects if you complete a set of 6 new storm rider races!

Its not an addon. It's the gryphon mount. It changes when you ride it :D

Is it only usable as a dragon riding mount or can you use it as a normal mount as well?
Good question! Currently only let’s you use it in the dragon isles, you’ll be able to use it in the new expansions zones, and probably in the rest of the world too at some point!
Do we know when the upgrade sale will go away? I want to save up for the Epic upgrade but it may take a while
Don’t worry mate those will be available for a long long time yet as far as I know, they always have been for the past expansions
I dont understand the buff stack thing...i just randomly get them while flying? Half the time they fall off faster then they stack. Why not just keep what was already working and just change the cosmetic.....
Yeah it’s bloody annoying tbh! Sometimes you make it to where you wanna go and you’ve only just got your stacks to go zoom zoom, wish it was maybe 5 stacks max, and that they didn’t degenerate
Oh and you get them whenever you fly near a surface, so stack them quickly by flying by the side of mountains etc
Is the mount able to fly in other lands. Because I despise the whole gliding thing with Dragon Isles. Thanks for the video.
It will be as of 10.2.5 when they enable dynamic flying in the other zones :) you’re welcome!

So they're going to give you the option, so like now in the Dragon Isles how you can choose to dragon ride, or use normal flying, you'll be able to do that in the other zones too :) @@WakkasLove

Ahh sorry mate that’s not part of the set, I think I was using the battlemaster enchant on that weapon but I can check for you when I get on my PC tonight

It is indeed!
it says Upgradable Stormrider’s Attire Transmog set... what does that mean
So when you get the expansion you’ll get the set by without lightning effects on it, once you’ve done the races you get the upgraded set with all the effects :)
is the mount a regular mount aswell?
It isn't for now, but, when they release the option to choose between 'static' and 'dynamic' flying, you will be able to fly it normally :)

Does anyone else find that the mount handles really badly after using the charges up to go fast? For like 3 seconds you can't really steer which makes it super annoying
Yeah it’s incredibly sticky haha it’s like your mount is stuck in glue!! But at least it’s a super boost so makes them long stretches go by quickly, takes some getting used to but deffo don’t use it to go round a corner 😂
@@LazyBeastGaming yeah, the mount and the charges are gonna take some getting use to for sure. Wish there was a way to disable the lightning boost for the regular one
Yeah would be good to have the option, I did try and drag whirling surge from the spellbook and change it but it doesn't let you @@SilentKME
annoying that the vehicle handling is severely impaired while under the effect of a speed boost?
i only have the Default transmog and completing the races didnt reward me with the thundering version

You get the base one but you only need to do the races for the one with the lightning effects, the races are way enough and you don’t need to get gold :)

The fact that they’re baiting people into pre-purchasing the new expansion with an exclusive dragonflying mount is beyond disgusting. Not like you already have a plethora of mounts already, there’s only half a dozen or so. Dirty filthy tricks.
