Thank you so much!!! This kind of structuring my practice routine is exactly what I need right now! 🧡
Very helpful, thanks!
Merci beaucoup for these ideas.

Wish you a good start into May!
Greetings from Bavaria
Thank you!

😁🎹
As always so helpful! So glad I found you❤️. You help me to improve and still have fun with my piano❤️❤️ I will happily support you by wearing your cute T😀🥰
So pleased my lessons help you 🤗🎹
Your channel is really a treasure trove and I'm glad I found it early on.
Recently I learned of the Rule of the Octave, and it's really helped. I'm working on sightreading Bach Chorales and the ROTO has helped to understand how he was taught and how he thought. There is a lot of material on the sight for Derek Remes, including the translation of a book by Kellner.
Thank you Francheska. Sight reading is the most challenging part of learning piano (as an adult person driven by your own free will and not by your parent/teacher) because of immense frustration you get of trying slowly to decipher those inhuman inscriptions and really not much of direct joy from succeeding, so I never was able to really keep it on par with my hands technique. I've never thought of special "sight reading books" for different levels and I think I'm going to follow your advice and just start from grade one.
Hello! I love all of your piano lessons, and they're really helping me improve as a beginner! I was hoping you could do a piano tutorial on "Solas" by Jamie Duffy... I'm really excited about this because this is one of my favorite piano songs, and I'd love to learn it from you! Thank you and I am here supporting you! May you continue to inspire and teach us💕💕💕
These Tips are great and I like your Video's! Thanks.
Your Language is not my native Language, so I think you're a great Teacher, because I'm generally able to understand your Video's! Thanks!
Whoe !!! she does that really gooood!!!! I'm working on moving my hand separately.
This is a great video, thanks! ❤️
You’re most welcome!
I practice about 3 hours a day as an intermediate pianist. I focus on technical exercises in the morning for the first hour (Hanon, scales, chords, arpeggios, etc). After a few hours break I will play some pieces I’m trying to learn or work on sight reading for another 45-60 minutes. Then in the evening I will continue working and refining pieces I’m working on until bedtime (1.5-2 hours). Since I’m retired I have more free time than people that have a job. Because of this I feel I have progressed nicely over the last 15 months. I took piano lessons many years ago but never had the time to consistently practice. I hope to one day be a decent amateur pianist.
Thank you for sharing your practice methods, JD. Your comment is why I take the time to peruse the comments section.
Great tips , my practice sometimes becomes samey so thanks for these ideas .☺
Thanks!
Really usefull for me, thank you very much miss
Glad you found it helpful 🎹
Great advices!
🤗🎹
I have been looking for a good practice routine for a while. Seems like I have found it. I will try it. Thank you!
😁
Thank you so much for all these lessons! It’s amazing…I was wondering if you could do “little bit yours” it’s one of my favorite songs! 😊😘
0:29 Scales

I'll try your 'practise' routine. Printed out the sheet. I need to structure myself. 🎼🎵🎶😊🎹
I enjoyed that you continued your lesson with picture-in-picture while showing a real demonstration.
Glad you found that useful!
Such a well planned practice planner :)
Pleased you think so!
Beauty with knowledge is you😍🙈
Awesome
Excellent vid. Best yet!!! Great advice. My teacher always recommends sight reading a grade above your level so that the exam is easier - but I like your plan too as playing a lower grade helps to build confidence and speed.
In exams, the pieces you learn are much more advanced than the sight reading they give you. You’re given sight reading excerpts 2-3 grades lower than the standard of your pieces.
@@BitesizePiano Thank you Francesca, yes I thought so. Another question - I'm studying for Grade 6, do you recommend practising every day or is it good to have a day off every week?
@@markgilmore2077 have a day off for sure! Or have a theory day!
Thanks for teaching me Green Onions Francesca. I just uploaded it. I got the courage to start my own channel a couple days ago. I also learned the end of Chiquitita from you and another person.
I would absolutely love it if you did a piano tutorial on Merry Go Round Of Life from Howl’s Moving Castle! Thank you so much 😊
Love your tutorials! There’s an old song by John Denver, very short, No One Like You. Would love to learn this since I sing it to my son a lot. ❤️
Thank you for these tips and free lessons! Also can you consider making a tutorial for Always - (live) by keshi? Thank you! 🙏🏼😊
Ooh, this was an insightful video.
Also, I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on heatwaves by glass animals.
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
You had no idea how much I love you francheska! I’m you’rr biggest fan ate! You’re the one who really showed me on how to play piano
Thank you for your kind words ❤️🎹
@@BitesizePiano awwwh ofcourse and I will be always here to support you
Hello! I want to ask if you can do a piano tutorial of Over the Garden Wall intro? Its beautiful and I think your tutorials are the most intricate and helpful! Thank you!!!
Thanks Francesca great lesson. On another note. Any chance of a lesson on how to play Billy Brown by Mika please.
THIS LOVE TAYLOR'S VERSION tutorial plis ❤️
You tutorials are the best. You are talented and great teacher but I never knew you look absolutely gorgeous. Life is unfair 🤣🤣
Good afternoon from Greece. Exploring your channel I have to say that is an oasis for an adult beginner or intermediate piano player (I try for this) like me. Because I have grown up with boogie woogie, blues and rock and roll music and as I can see you have too many beautiful tutorials, I want to ask you if from time to time can give us tutorials for songs like Rock around the clock, jail house rock, speedy Gonzales etc. Thank you.😀
Hi there I been searching for how to play until I found on piano but i couldn't found it i always watch ur video so i searched it from ur channel n also couldn't find it my grandmother bday is near so Idecided to play her fav song her bday is on May 19 n was hoping if u could upload a video of how to play "Until I found you" . Tysm 🌸
Hi,
Yesterday I was struggling trying to play
"Sweet Home Chicago".
It's a twelve bar blue and as a beginner it's too hard for me to coordinate both hands as the right hand is kind of improvisation and is different from the left.
I need some exercises to build strength, dexterity, independence of hands, sight reading on the left and right side of the piano ( notes with auxiliary ledger lines above and below).
I have a book on scales, arpeggios and broken chords in several keys. They are good exercises, but any piece has notes above and below and those exercises do not train for this kind of sight reading.
I guess those books like Hanon or Czerny do not train . The book I have create new clefs in the middle of the line and so rarely use the notes above and below in notation.
I thought of doing exercises of my own, but surely I would commit mistakes in fingering jumping to one side to the other side of the piano.
Thank you for your advices.
The T-shirt is really beautiful and funny.
Best wishes from Brazil🇧🇷
cool 😎👌
😎
Teacher please include the song masquerade thank you and May God Bless You
can you please do a tutorial of “all about you” by taeyeon thank you your tutorials has helped me so much
I love your videos so much!! could you please make a tutorial of This Love by Taylor Swift since she just released Taylor’s Version? I use ur vids all the time, thanks for all that you do!! ❤️❤️❤️
Discovered that the song 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' in key of C is a great way to learn chords and their inversions as most of the melody uses the full scale. Wondered if you might do a tutorial on this in the key of D.
Here is a video lesson on how to change the key of any song: ruclips.net/video/Q0_PxgpfcZg/видео.html
Great, thank you for your help Francesca.
Can you make a tutorial as hard as peter buka played for believer
This is soo helpful tysm. Do you have any tips on practicing a piece until it’s basically performance worthy? I tend to become proficient enough at pieces to get through them but I never fully master them and I don’t really know what that looks like
You need to focus on essentially memorising one small section at a time (around 4 bars), and add another small section to it after that section. Try practising to a steady metronome also.
Love your videos, they are so helpful! Could you do a tutorial on shadow of mine by Alec Benjamin?
May you please make a tutorial of Minefields by John Legend, it would really help🙏
I need this practice push. Thanks for the suggestions.I've learned five songs now using youtube. Having fun, but I feel like I'm just parroting what I watch. Want to learn to read sheet music. Where do I begin?
My course! Bitesizepianocourse.co.uk 🎹
Tutorial of this love(Taylor's version)plisss!!!!!!!!!😭
I would like you to do a tutorial of "On Broadway" by George Benson, please. Would you be so kind, I tried the chords but there's a secret I cannot grasp. I know I am playing wrong, there's something missing, like in the beginning you have the chords Gb and E that alternate, but there's more to that.
Could you please make a tutorial for your reality from doki doki literature Club I really want to learn it and your tutorials are so good and easy to follow it would be very helpful if you could.🙂
Could you make a tutorial of 'angie' by rolling stones
Can u please do a tutorial on this love Taylor's Version? Pleaseee
Could you make a tutorial of don't let the sun go down on me by Elton John 🙏
If you have ptsd from Hanoi, other composers like Clementi made exercise books that are a bit more musical (so it’s like sugar coating medicine)
While there are many veterans who have PTSD from Hanoi, I'm guess you intended to write "Hanon".
I know it's an odd request but could you do "aadat" by atif aslam?
Please, teach us how to play "Welcome to Wonderland" (Anson Seabra) I need it🥺🥺🥺
Hello! Do you still do tutorials on request? Is like to learn Meditation Impromptu by Kevin MacLeod 🙏🙂
Requests are suggestive only and not guaranteed 🙂
please teach seven by taylor swift
I like You😀
