Great review. I’m a m&p shield guy also, but trying to venture out and try new things. Picked up a glock 43 and I like the accuracy and trigger on it. Looking at the 27 for carry but that extension mag looks necessary
Just FYI, you can cut the head of a Q-Tip off and use the stem to push the trigger housing pin out. Since it's softer than plastic, it won't strip out that hole. Metal on plastic is bad news over time.

You can run a Glock 23 magazine with a grip sleeve as well gives you a compact size grip. For a holster check out bravo concealment I’ve used them for years most comfortable holster I ever put on.
@@JR-ld1et I have a gen 5 26 and compared to my gen 3 it's a night and day difference my gen 5 is also made in the USA I think that counts for something trigger is buttery smooth.
@@jahfeel491 I think they look best with the factory sized mag and a glock + extension the problem with not running the grip sleeve is if you happen to grip the magazine to tight it can mess with the spring tension and malfunction
Gen 5 40 caliber have 2 pins cause the slides are thicker same as 45 GAP Glocks to dampen recoil. Every Glock I have loads smooth as butter all rounds but Gen 5 I've bought came dry. Those mags hard to load last round new but break in .
I'm new to Glocks . Is their even a point to many of the Glocks? I prefer the Glocks that carry large calibers and can use conversion barrels , 27,23,21 all those guns can shoot 3+ calibers and cover all the frame sizes

The gen 4 two pin trigger system was there to add extra support to higher pressure rounds like 40, 10mm etc. . So the gen 5 one pin system is kinda iffy to me .
They never put all the backstraps in the box,my first glock came with 4 backstraps and the piece that holds them all together, since then it only comes with 2,and my first glock came with a medal MOS part now they're plastic.
The Gen 5's have the breech face cut out, the small cutout on the bottom left side of the breech face . It helped get rid of the brass to face syndrome the older Generation Glocks had. But it also makes racking the slide back with a round in it more difficult. Maybe that was the issue you were having.
The Gen 5 and a Glock 27 just looks terrible I think Glock doesn't know what they're doing anymore Police department don't use the Glock 4 or 5 most of them have the Glock gen 3 look at the difference and they Glock 27 gen 3 and the five and the video I'm surprised they even did this that's why I smitten Weston is selling their guns like never before they m&P has a better texture and better grips easy to put on and off you get four or five of them with each gun few dollars cheaper than Glock I think Glock should really retire 👎😯
Police departments don’t upgrade their service weapon when every generation comes out, it’s not in the budget, 2. most of the police officers are using the Gen 4 the Gen 3 are in police trade-in’s,, you don’t have to believe me, check. 3. Looks are personal preference I think the GEN 5 looks beautiful if it did not have the front separations and the black coating over the slide I would Still not own a Glock.. I do believe the Smith & Wesson is the more comfortable superior Gun that’s why I love my Shield 2.0 By the sales Glock is Still King! Glock 19 is the number one Gun sold in this country 43x is number 3

It’s not a “dingus”, for all the non-veterans, it’s a trigger safety shoe.
Love my Gen 3 G27. Even picked up a lone wolf 9mm barrel for it. I had change the extractor though

The Gen 5 (gen 5 second gen,not first) is actually the best Glock ever.
They never put all the backstraps in the box,my first glock came with 4 backstraps and the piece that holds them all together, since then it only comes with 2,and my first glock came with a medal MOS part now they're plastic.
They definitely looked out & made up for it.
