0. Let's assume you have created restore point
1. Open CMD in the Blue screen
2. Type - Notepad and hit open
3. Go to - Windows/System32/Config
4. rename software to software.001
5. rename system to system.001 (you need to hit F5 to see the change in renaming a file)
6. Close the notepad
7. Write Exit in CMD
8. Try to restore PC with one of your earlier restore points. If doesn't work, try to restart PC

Fix 1. Enable System Protection via CMD
1. Get into the Command Prompt from Advanced options when you cannot get into Windows.
2. Type this command: net start vss and press Enter.
3. Type this command: rstrui.exe /offline:C:\windows=active and press Enter.
4. Restart your computer after restoring to see if you could back to previous state.
Then it will work??

I have done everything including this one. I have been doing clean boot, uninstalling programs and updates, updating or roll back drivers and many more. But I still have this every 20 minutes and I am on a desktop. Also everytime it restarts it goes black screen and needed to be restated again. PLS HELP!

What about the data present in our pc?
Personal data remains on the pc. You lose installed apps and settings.

Guys if you're having the same issue and if its a software or a registry or a driver issue, then you can go for this method.

Ah. I was pressing ESC, but that is model dependent. You need to enter the boot menu at that point.

when I get to the point of where I get asked where do you want to install windows and I cant pick partition 2 bc it says Windows can not be installed to this hard disk space. Windows must be installed to a partition formatted as NTFS. Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space the partition is an EFI system partition (ESP). The only partition i can click on and not get it is partition 4. Any idea on what to do
hi sir can u help me i have this problem. it says i have 3 disks. C for local disk, d for recovery, and x for boot. i tried chkdsk on c and d and it says it is fine. But on X it says boot and it says there is a problem found. When i try to run the /f command it says that it is write protected. This all happened because of my loose power supply cable, It turned on and off several times constantly then when i finally opened it the bsod appeared. can u pls help me?
Hi. Never had this exact problem, but you might be able to fix it by booting from a Windows bootable thumbdrive and using the repair windows option.

Probably because your laptop shut off while accessing/writing some important data, causing an error.

Can I use the old license code for Windows? Because it was a custom build without an operating system ( I installed it myself) Now I want to reinstall it like in the video. Can I use the code from before or do I have to buy a new one?
If it was once activated it will activate itself online. No need to input code. You can skip it during setup.

As long as it's not overheating and this happend only once I would not worry.

You might need to have the cooling cleaned. If it's already clean, get an external laptop cooler.

I’m running into a problem. I get to the part where you select the partition to install windows over the old one, but I get a message saying “We couldn’t create a new partition or locate an existing one.” How should I solve this issue? I don’t want to lose my files.
Better get someone to backup your data first. Could be a MBR/GPT issue and you might need to delete all existing partitions and create new ones.

There is no simple way, if you have not done it before.
@@prestongray7747 if there's only data and not installed apps can use a Hiren's boot cd and save everything on an external drive or other partition and then you can do the reinstall

The easiest way is to uninstall recent feature updates from advanced settings. Believe me I tried every single solution but I gave up. And tried this and my pc is back

You have a folder on you C drive "windows old" or something like that. Your old files are in that folder.

I don't think so. You might try to find what is causing the problem, but most times it takes way more time, than just installing Windows again.

No. W10 licenses are stored on Microsoft servers. As long as you install the same W10 version (pro or home) it will activate by itself online.

Yes as long as it has at least 8gb
And make sure the usb doesn’t have any files on it. It has to be empty or your files will be lost
I don't have this kind of USB drive to reinstall windows.
You can use "media creation tool" and any usb drive bigger than 8gb to create it.
