I can't believe I overlooked this game for like 3 years. Thankfully I saw a new copy on discount 2 months ago, bought it, tried it and now I'm loving it. What a very well done game, music, game mechanics and most importantly, DAT ASS.
I'm trying to do it by ear with some software i got for slowing down. The intro is the main problem. Even if you had perfect pitch hearing it wouldn't matter. the tones in that part are so distorted that their pitch is combined to sometimes 30+ cents. If i get it done i'll post a video showing it off.
to be honest i'm not into shooters anymore. they base shooter controls has been the same for the past 10 years on consoles. But i do like it that vanquish has more than just the shooting. it has a good combat system.
