Great video, thanks for taking us to the tractor show. The show ws very entertaining, you guys have some great fans.We enjoy your show , as thanks Id like to send Slippers some of the older toys up in my attic. address ??
I have 1967 International Harvester model 72 that can still cut grass! I wish I could show her off, or transfer ownership to someone who can re, re, restore her! This tractor held a vital role of starting a lawn business when I was just a wee little boy. Sadly, she just sits now, tucked away under a lean to. To me, she is a trophy, I'll never let her go, unless she becomes someone else's trophy. Definitely my Christine! Edit...... still has original creeper gear!
You grass clippers are sure an amazing group of enthusiasts I enjoy watching you bring back all kinds of grass clippers of all ages back to life things I didn’t even now existed keep the good work you all do enjoy your channel

I hope you gave a buddy hug to those young guys who gave you stuff! ALSO a golden moment was COMPLETELY MISSED at the end of Elkskins' spiel. Taryl should have ran in and said *FIRE IT UP! FIRE IT UP!*
Great video! Brought me back to my childhood when my dad would take me to the thrasharee in Wisconsin. So much cool old stuff! Wish the days now were as simple as they were back then.
Holy Cow! There's one of those steel Steam Tractors in my neighborhood, I think exactly like that one in your video! A bunch of guys each Spring get together, fire it up, and drive it around a small field. I assume they are all part of a "steam engine enthusiast" group. I always look forward to watching that thing.
looks like you had a good time, and lots of old tractors there also. Were you ever considering coming to Baraboo, Wisconsin to the Badger steam and Gas engine show? It is August 18-20th. I live about 2 hours north of there and go there for the day. It is a show well worth going to. Really enjoying all your videos and the skits videos, not to mention, I learn a lot of new things from your teachings. Thank you for all the education.
That OD Ford tractor brought back memories of my 20 years in USAF. Drove some of those towing engines, ground equipment and munitions. Wish I could have been there.
..lol..I've never seen Elk Skins this happy before..i want to see that garden tractor when he finishes it..I'm sure it will look and preform like new...
My dad had that exact 1957 Bolens ride-a-matic. He ended up making a go-cart out of it for me when I was a little kid. I still have the plow attachment as a decoration.
Very cool I live down here in connersville indiana did not know of this show In gonna try to make it up there next year love your show man keep it coming
Looks fun! Elkskins- I had a Sears mower like Slippers where I cut out the top third of my steering wheel so that I could roll it up some shoddily made ramps and it would clear height to roll in to the back of my 1970 three door suburban.
Taryl, you should come out to the 75th annual Thresherman's Reunion in Kinzers, Pa. Rough and Tumble will have many events at that show, including the flea market, of which i will have a stand, tractor pulls, both large and small, the steam powered sawmill, shingle cutter, and so much more. They have one of the oldest gasoline engines
In Easton MD there is a Tuckahoe Steam Club with museums and a big show, lots of steam and hit or miss. Looks like its the weekend following the 4th every year. I would say everyone should see it. Hope to get to a show you attend one day.
We have an event similar to this. The Rock River Thresheree at Edgerton,Wi. There's alot of old steam tractors other steam farm equipment on display and in use besides newer machinery. It looks like there's alot to see there.
@3:06 the Texas lic plates, those are becoming worth more to collect because in the top left corner is the space shuttle. Not all of those plates had the space shuttle, and since it doesnt fly anymore they are worth collecting.
That amp meter looks to be a common design used on battery chargers and testing equipement going back to the 50s. When I worked on electric forklifts we would have to replace the chargers and haul the old non working one off. Aint no telling how many of those ampmeters I've sent to the scrap yard. I have my grandpa's old craftsman 12 volt battery charger that had one on it. Busted long before my time. I just made an adaptor and using a modern LED amp/volt gauge in it. I didn't care about looks I just wanted it working because it's not one of these new junk smart chargers that barely work.
I have been watching you guys too long community garage sales came around this year and I got a 60s ten horse Sears suburban in great condition cheap I can push mow my yard in thirty min it just had the look with the deck and original motor with an updated ignition that I learned about from you guys

Garden tractors back in the day classified by weight.
A 120 John Deere is a garden tractor because it weighs so much.
I have been watching you guys too long community garage sales came around this year and I got a 60s ten horse Sears suburban in great condition cheap I can push mow my yard in thirty min it just had the look with the deck and original motor with an updated ignition that I learned about from you guys
