Orodreth who is a spanish beatboxer and a beatbox reactor gave insight into the zekka situation and basically said that zekka made a mistake getting all touchy because orodreth also hates it and doesnt tolerate it but he is friends with zekka and told zekka that was wrong and zekka himself knew it after the battle and apologized to colaps right after and its all good, him and colaps are good friends and it was simply a mistake that zekka made in a battle that was intense because it was a tight decision and if zekka didnt do that it might of moved a couple votes either towards him or force a rare OT because OTs were only allowed if the judges couldnt come to a decision which almost happened in the inertia vs helium battle it came down to dlows vote in that battle. But Zekka also released an apology video in orodreths channel on orodreths reaction to the battle. But again its all good, theres no bad blood or anything
Yeah, the touching thing has been a point of contention for a couple of years now. In the rules it is stated that you aren't supposed to touch your opponent and you can get DQ'd for it, but usually it's like a harmless hand on the shoulder or a finger on the chest (not in an aggressive way or anything) so people have been letting incidents like that go for quite some time. However this time with Zekka, it really bothered most people because it was too extra. So from now on I imagine the DQ rule will get used more to stop it.
Yeah, alot of beat boxers have touched each other in the past. I think they didn't do anything about it though because the fans get a kick out of it and it makes for some funny moments but I agree. I do think playful touching should be aloud, but some people get heated easily so I could understand why they took that out. At the end of the day, they are just putting on a show for the people watching. If they are all cool it shouldn't really cause any anger if people realize that it's meant for show. A beat boxer isn't just going to walk up to his opponent and take his hat off just to make them mad.

Old rules would've had Zekka disqualified for touching Colaps. I kinda wish they'd bring those rules back because your personal space is your own and if you wanna invade that space you better be ready for anything that comes with it. People have been laid out for less.
