Horikoshi says Deku was tired, so the first "100%" it wasn't really that strong, and when deku said "1,000,000%" it was for the heat of the moment and a truly 100% Smash.
@@furiousdestroyah9999 maybe, Horikoshi was the one who compares the moment with a real life situation, when emotions make us summoning strength in a crisis, just enough to give a last push. Of course, not like a PowerUp from nowhere.
@@TearDownGenesis The "1,000,000%" is just true 100% of that state of Deku. Everybody's quirk caps at 80%, even if they believe they're going 100%. When the body is pumped with endorphins and you are in an intense situation you can break past the quirk cap and reach "true 100%." That was explained by the doctor a couple eps after this one.
The author of the manga compared the 1 million percent to when mothers get abnormal strength and are able to lift a car up to save their child underneath. Basically it's just a battle cry and it's adrenaline. Probably more like a 105-110%
The trick of the final smash was a finger smash to disrupt the muscle fibers, and then a full smash to the face. If Muscular didn't have his fibers out his neck and jaw would have been pulp.
The whole 1 mil percent isn't as that literaly when it comes to how strong the attack was. It was more of way to pomp himself up and go beyond his 100% strengh limit.
Then reason there would be 3 murders and 29 attempted could be something like destroyed a building killing 3, but there were 29 others inside the building. That's why "attempted" can spike like that.
In case you’re confused, it’s kind of explained later but basically since humans can’t regularly use 100% of their strength, Dekus 100% wasn’t actually his full power. Because of the adrenaline tho, he was able to actually use a full power punch and said 1000000% for it to kind of hype himself up also. Also since dekus body isn’t as strong as all mights, his 100% is weaker than all mights.
To be fair for the name of the Vanguard Action Squad, I think it's supposed to be a bit cheesy/lame. Shigaraki loves to use gamer terminology, which is why he chose League of Villians as his group name.
See, thats why i like the dub version better! That "SHUT UP DAMMIT" from Deku before beating the sht out of Muscular is just ART! The VA went crazy and it always bring me to tears! So good!
While I agree that a true hero is someone who saves and puts others before themselves, the idea that they shouldn't be paid, be able to find happiness, or get recognition at all is asinine. That's like saying that cops, emergency responders, military, firemen, doctors, etc don't deserve those things either. For some people, a family gives extra motivation to do their job well. Monetary compensation makes sure that they have good gear and equipment to protect themselves, as well as covering medical bills; not to mention they need money for housing and food. The various hero agencies are all billed for any damages done to the cities they work for. Recognition for a job well done helps spur them on.
About Deku's percentages. 100% is his current power that the body can regulate without exploding into pieces. His S1 100% is just 20% of his real power. S2 - S3 100% is 30%. S4 - S5 ? No one knows because of Full Cowling. But the Movie Deku is using his true 100% without any amps. S6 - His 100% is now USJ All Might level but still not his true 100% Final Battle (Ongoing) - He is above Prime All Might level but his real 100% is still unknown. Plus you know "Other factors"
Haha, I can't imagine some 16 year old teenager being able to produce as much power as the Hulk All Might was. Realistically he'd probably have went through a time skip to grow up at least to the point where he doesn't look like a kid anymore or he'd look like Zeus muscle form from Record of Ragnarok, while still being small in size
@@furiousdestroyah9999 More muscles does not mean a stronger body. There is difference between muscle mass (size) and muscle density (strength). That's why Gymnasts are such a fu*king unit without being huge. They are ripped and dense . Wanna get stronger ? Rather than using slow exercise movements try explosive movements.
well talking about current deku, in recent chapters. Hes wayy above all might level. imo, strongest in his verse. and the fact that he will grow stronger is insane.
So, fun fact, It wasn't supposed to be taken literally. It was just a battle cry of sorts for Deku to pump himself up, kinda like when All Might shouted Plus Ultra when fighting the nomu. The author actually ended up apologizing for the confusion it caused.
@@kyrose2878 I had no idea. Thanks for telling me. But even still. Deku got utterly destroyed and suddenly He oneshots this Dude. I think it's unterstandable were my confusion is coming from
@@momohiragi9382 yeah that’s fair. The explanation they end up giving for it in the next few episodes helps it make more sense imo. Just in case people are watching along for the first time MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD The hysterical strength explanation makes a good amount of sense, basically Deku’s normal 100% is only 80% of his full theoretical strength. This is actually based in real life. Hysterical strength is a phenomenon when someone essentially pushes their body WAY past their limits in a crisis (the go to example is a mother lifting a car to save her child). They get roughly 25% stronger but it also fucks up their body big time after words. So the common theory is that hysterical strength is our bodies full strength, but our brain limits it to 80% normally so we don’t hurt ourselves. This is basically what happens to Deku here. Sorry if this is a bit long, but I find this topic really interesting.
Yeah it’s not actually 1 million. It’s actually just the hysterical strength thing where adrenaline allows you to actually use the full strength your body allows.
Not even that, is the 100 percent from the actual fraction of power he can brings out. This 100 is like, idk, ¿15? from the total power One for all stores in it.
But maybe top 10 scenes in terms of animation, story significance (Dekus first solo villain fight with powers to save his first person) music direction and voice acting. One of the best executed episodes to this day

The 1 Million percent is literally an adrenaline fueled 100%.

'Yes'
