Awesome! I've seen this woman every where over the years. We even used stock images of her for our travel agency. It is so cool to see her on social media and a fellow cruise enthusiast. I'm a Royal/Celebrity fan, but Carnival gives travel agents really good deals. I'm thinking of trying the Mardi Gras in 2022 so this info is very helpful. Thank you!
Just got off the MG at FULL CAPACITY. Forward extended cabin on deck 11 was FABULOUS! Book all your specialty dining in advance - including Chef’s Table. Highly recommend Chef’s Table. BOLT can only be booked once on board - do it immediately if you really want to ride it. BE FLEXIBLE - move around, go see different comedy shows (Punchliners or Limelight), try the Fortune Teller bar (one deck down from Alchemy), the ship is HUGE and a lot of things fill up but there will be other shows or events going on. Try the different pools. The new panini place is the BOMB!! The coffee and milkshakes at the coffee shop are great! Spiked or not!
Were you still able to enjoy the cruise even though it was at full capacity? I think my cruise will be full capacity too and I still want to be able to enjoy it
One thing you can do is get whatever food you want that is closing early and put in your fridge for later (but needs to be something you don't mind eating cold). Take a longer storage bowl that fits in fridge (because if you want to bring back dessert from specialty restaurant to enjoy later, it won't fit in fridge)
How do you get free cheers package? I’ve never seen that offer before when booking? And what’s price protection? Is it worth spending extra $90 for that on the offers screen?
it is RARELY offered, maybe through Casino Perks. You CAN get discounted Cruise offers that include Cheers package if you're a VIFP (I think our Cheers package--included with our cruise fare---was a little less than $300 more than the same cruise without the Cheers pacakge). Hope this helps. 10 months later...lol
Now there is late night snacks hoping to check that out in March
Great tips, I'm going on 4 Carnival cruise in 2022 using the casino offers, paying $100 pp double occupancy each sailing. Some sailings have OBC.

Did you find the thermal spa more crowded than NCL's.

are the shorter hours just on Mardi gras then for some of the places to eat?
If I was celebrating an anniversary or special birthday, I would always reserve dining in advance regardless of ship.
