- Today we visited the desert here in Inner Mongolia about 2.5 from the city of Hohhot. We had a blast and can't wait for our next stop, the grasslands!

Wow , you folks get around. Thank you for showing us China. I had to laugh when you said there was a KFC behind you, cos where i live (Ireland), the nearest KFC is about 80+ miles from us.

In almost every amusement park and train station in China you can find KFC and Mcdonald’s, yes they always come in pairs 🤣

As an Inner mongolian living in the us. Welcome you guys to my hometown! I think we have the best beef and lamb in China. Hope you guys enjoy the meat! Tips: do not drink too much bai jiu, you guys will get wasted
The meat was incredible and really enjoyed, and yes, the bai jiu was dangerous hahaha
ahhh so good to see some greens in the desert. those are the plants that being planted by locals to stop desertification. such a good efforts by them.
Looks like a fun place, I love the desert. We are heading to Nei Mongol on Thursday next week, so I'll be posting our experiences as well. My wife's from Inner Mongolia but is Han Chinese. Our plan is to spend about 2 months there, so lot's of excursions planned, large meals and plenty of beer 🤣🍻.

@@GarciaFamily4 I grew up there. In my experience, you should continue to go south. There is a place called Hongjiannao, where there are more natural and beautiful grasslands, wetlands and lakes. Cattle, sheep and flocks of birds!

You guys are only 160 miles from Ordos, the city many western media called an uninhabited ghost town. It's a beautiful city of 3.01 million people southwest of Hohhot.
Ordos is the highest GDP region in Inner Mongolia

eyy The Gobi Desert and camel riding yiew yiew. BAHAHAHA that random KFC yurt lmfao. Yeah the local ethnic Mongolians drink a lot of baijiu, caoyuanwang 草原王 is one of their locally distilled baijiu. You can even find baijiu with 60+% alcohol content lol. Great video guys keep it up!

Just met a girl (nurse) from Mongolia today here in the Netherlands(she has been living here for 18 years).
She speaks Dutch, Mongolian, Russian and Czech (and can ride a horse OFCOURSE) but NO Mandarin.
