If someone does not know how to set the constant display of fuel consumption to "type C", then you should use the buttons on the steering wheel to select the display on line 1 of the consumption and then press the MODE button on the radio

Hello. This modification can be done but you must have the right LEDs, hot air soldering station.
Will changing display like you did here add any extra functionality as soon as you install it or will things need to be activated using the PP2000 software? For example, will it be possible to configure the feature that automatically locks the car after having gained some speed?~
You can activate the feature that automatically locks the car after having gained some speed very simply: hold down the button on the dashboard to lock / unlock the doors for a few seconds .

Hello. If you buy a screen with the active bluetooth option, it will be displayed on the screen even if your car does not have bluetooth. The on-screen bluetooth function can be disabled using the Diagbox interface.

Hi. This is a great option for a 2din unit with Android dedicated for Peugeot, I recommend the version with DSP (digital sound processor).

The type c screen tends to fade over time, the type a is more future proof, especially the model with the controls separated from the radio.
I replaced the Type C screen after 8 years because it had lost some lines, I usually saw this problem on the Peugeot 407. I prefer the Type C screen.

I currently have a Type C in my vehicle. I want to put a custom single-din aftermarket radio (a quality SONY unit)... My question is, *is it possible to operate the Type C display* using the right stalk (behind the steering wheel) OR does this method of using the stalk, would only work with the older displays (Type A and Type B)?
My other question is, say if the first method doesn't work (theoretically)... What if I downgrade from a Type C to a Type B... will the stalk "automatically" start operating... or does this mean that in both cases, I'm going to need someone to (using the Lexia I suppose) to change a setting and therefor only through this way it will be possible to change the settings/trip comp., etc.?
Hi. You can make the settings using the lever under the steering wheel but you will have to make a setting with Diagbox to activate this. Now I don't know to tell you exactly where this is in the Diagbox that menu but it's an good idea to do a tutorial about this.

Hello. If you have the same type of screen it will work. It is not compatible with color screens.

I do not have a fog lights on 307 but I'll try to explain how you can dismantle them: unclip (few screws) the front under bumper and radiator protection, then you'll have access to the fog lamps. These are attached with 4 screws that you need to unlock. Hope to helped you.

Does it display only the features that are available to your car? For instance, there is no Bluetooth in my car but all type C displays have a little BT icon in the menu. Will it disappear when I install the new display? Also, what about the car settings? Will I still be able to configure them?
Yes, you can configure your car settings. The Bluetooth function is displayed when the screen software is set to show this.

Salut. Daca este modelul din prima generatie e posibil sa fie arse becurile de iluminare a ecranului. Din pacate aceste escrane nu sunt compatibile cu cele din prima generatie. Spui ca ecranul tau nu se aseamana cu niciunul din cele din clip? In 2005 sunt masini care nu aveau facelift la caroserie dar aveau deja electronica de pe facelift.
@@AdrianDragan Multumesc mult pentru raspuns! Modelul meu e din prima generatie, e din 2003. Fiind din prima generație si vazand ca au mai intrebat persoane daca se potrivește pe acest model, răspunsul fiind negativ, nu am mai dat jos display-ul sa vad daca se aseamănă.
Ai dreptate, mi s-a ars unul din becuri de curând, insa problema e ca dinainte sa se fi ars mie imi arata niste dungi verticale, accentuate din cate am vazut cand e foarte cald afara sau cand se incalzeste motorul, imaginea fiind neclara si ma gandeam sa il schimb.

Nu stiu de ce aveam impresia ca masina ta este din 2005, fiind 2003 clar este modelul cu ecran din prima generatie.

Hello. You need to remove the radio cassette player and see if the rear plug is identical to the one on the RD45. I'm afraid your radio is first generation and may not fit on the back plug.

Hey! In my 207 screen is seen now like in this video, but before (i had to disconnect my battery) It was seen like in thumbnail. I mean, now i must press the button to see comsumptions, but before It was always fixed in the screen. Do You know how can i switch between those modes and have always on screen comsumptions? Reconnect the original radio and press the Mode button until it shows up as you like.

No. The display is configured to display the bluetooth menu but works only if connected with RD45.

Salut. Din ce am inteles ar exista niste interfete pentru a functiona comenzile de la volan dar nu stiu daca este valabil si pentru a putea controla ecranul de pe bord. Exemplu: www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/peugeot-steering-wheel-interface-adaptors.html
Totusi acel ecran poate fi controlat din comenzile radio de sub volan (daca masina are asa ceva) doar ca trebuie activata o functie cu Diagbox. In unul din viitoarele clipuri voi explica acest lucru.

It differs only the background color, can be mounted without problems one in place of the other. However, make sure the screen has a 12-pin socket.

Imi amintesc ca vazusem la un moment dat un tutorial despre acel buton, din pacate acum nu l-am mai gasit. As spune ca prima data a fost scos butonul ce se roteste pentru a acționa stergatorul din spate si apoi ai acces la butonul ce comuta datele computerului de bord.
In legatura cu inlocuirea ecranului, la cele din prima generatie stiu ca nu se pot inlocui cu modelul A sau C.

hola buenas saves como se quitar en la radio el modo ahorro de energia peugeot 5008 tengo la misma radio que tu y no se como quetar el modo ahorro tengo que arrancar el coche para que se quite y no me salga pero yo quiero encender la radio sin poner el contacto de la llave y la radio se me apaga y dice que esta en modo ahorro y no se como se quita tu saves algo .

No, the bluetooth function will not be on, only the screen displays it. To run a more expensive separate module is required, plus some activations in the car software configuration with Diagbox.

Screen A works without error. I bought that screen C on AliExpress at the link that was in the description of the video. I think they sold me a defective screen C.

Inside, behind the screen you have orange plastic, take it out. Screen is blue, you can put there white peace of paper and blue or white LED bulbs
And done! You have blue screen, same with Automatic AC

Salut. Daca te referi sa pui ecranul de 7 inch color in locul celui de tip C si sa pastrezi RD4, raspunsul este ca nu se poate.
I just bought one of these and replaced it as I thought it was faulty but the new one is doing the same thing. It just flashes and has reverted back to French, was English.
Pressing menu and other buttons doesn't do anything so I'm guessing it's the radio unit and not the display.
Someone said they can be reset but maybe it needs replacing. 🤔
Hello. I think it could be the cable, but you can't really check it. Just try another radio to see if the same thing happens. Ah, one more thing: disconnect the radio from the power plug, the screen on the dashboard must work without the radio being connected. See what happens.

Some of the buttons work, like 2 of the channel presets work but the rest don't, the menu button doesn't work but the left/right buttons to manually tune the radio do work. 🤔

Salut. Intri in MENU folosind butonul de pe radio, apoi cu butoanele sageti te duci la "Personalisation-configuration" si aici selectezi "Display configuration" si "Date and time adjustment". Vezi ca eu am facut acest lucru in clipul meu aici: ruclips.net/video/WAU_yHYznWs/видео.html

@@AdrianDragan I've one raise decoder but it's impossible to change the clock with the inside menu. The only thing it work it's for wheel control. I buy the same one that I Saw on your video of the peugeot 307. Did you know also a radio application with RDS for android? Thanks for all videos they're really help me.
