Yes I guess because parrots are very smart .I'll suggest you try both because my quaker parrot learnt some words from me and some from videos and audios. It might take several weeks. The first few words are the hardest when teaching a bird to talk and the first indication that he is trying to speak is with a soft mumbling sound. He will keep practicing on his own so when you hear him doing this, repeat the word again for him.
I kept playing the video everyday for around two weeks and my Alexandrine parrot just said "peeeeeeekaboo" for the first time... I'm so happy❤❤❤
