This is hillarious, listening to a bunch of bitter viewers trying to find ulterior motives that explain why their precious entry didn't win. If only they'd known what Celine Dion would become.
The answer to the question at 4:10 is yes! Just listen to Colin Berry giving the UK votes in 1985. “We like several other juries are happy to give Norway 12 points “. Mmm, I think he did hear the previous jurors! Same for Finland’s jury in 1994. Finally, the incident that Ivan, the caller, is referring to occurred in 1977 when the Dutch juror said the Netherlands should have 6 points not 5. Do we really need to ask whether the jurors used to be able to follow the voting procedure?
Scott Fitzgerald sang really well in the contest, but it is all about the song not the singer, no reflexion on him. It was a charming ballad, but the Swiss entry had a bit more edge to it. The voting was just unfortunate really.
Common..move on Sir Scott..Bitterness wont take you anywhere..Better luck next time.. No way on earth you gonna win this.Youre up against a destined phenomenal world Icon Diva Celine Dion.
Would Celine have been one of the biggest selling singers would she not have won Eurovision? I think someone definitely wanted her to win, and yes they do view the counting from every country, every jury is up to date (Ivan was refering to Holland in the past, forgot the year but Frank Nef was present). Yugoslavia was rewarded later with a win in Zagreb. There is always something sinister about this competition, and accepting block voting as the norm is one of the evil things.
Its hard for a solo male to win. He did enormously well and the U.K can be proud to have two 2nd places in a row 88 and 89

Why just blame the Yugoslav jury? The French and the Dutch jury didn’t give Scott one single point either.
Прекрасная песня с отличным исполнением Скотт Фицджеральд -Go

This is the spokespersons. They should be allowed to hear, but the juries themselves are not allowed to hear. They are two different groups.
@@ttheone3518 they were indeed spokespeople, jury spokespeople
omg this programme is painful
and the presenter is even more painful. who is she? Can't even remember her...
Céline Dion won, that's it. She was the best. I really like Scott's song, it's beautiful. But Celine's was better.
