Ben Van Berkel Gives an Inisight into the Master in Architecture

IE University School of Architecture & Design opened its Master's in Architecture program specifically designed for global architects committed to sustainability and social impact. This full-time, in-person program, which will be taken in Madrid and Amsterdam, qualifies students to practice architecture in Spain and other European Union countries. The program spans ten months, is conducted in English, and comprises three core elements.
The final thesis project is led by renowned architect Ben van Berkel, and students have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the UNStudio team in Amsterdam during their immersion weeks there. Additionally, Spanish architect Fuensanta Nieta leads the architectural design and building construction modules. The third core element is a three-course sequence in design management, aimed at equipping students with business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset within the fields of architecture and design.
