- 1960s film star Ann-Margret and 18-year-old ingénue Lindsay Lohan have often been compared. "Oh, yes. I see a lot of me in her," says Ann-Margret, 64. "It's a huge compliment," says Lohan, who maintains her porcelain complexion by staying out of the sun. As for being natural redheads, Lohan feels "it sets you apart. There's a certain fire with redheads." Agrees Ann-Margret: "We're very spunky."
So sad. Lindsey COULD have been like Ann Margaret if she had had strong role models. Hers is a true story of how Hollywood uses young actors and discards them when they need help most.

Ann-Margret is a natural brunette, and to me is more beautiful that way. Check out her screen tests from 1961. But maybe if the industry hadn't made her a redhead, she would have been just another beautiful girl. I think she was only 19 when she did the 1961 screen tests.
jerlan23 I think she looks MUCH better with red hair. She has kind of a pronounced jawline which is softened by the red hair somehow.
