Where Else Days at the Intercon! I still have their album. I could dance the swing non-stop with their music... L.A. at the end of the day...Miami Heatwave...
This sounds like Disco Disney but it's uplifting, melodic and fantastic . I saw 7th avenue live. They were great. Happy days. Many thanks for this musical gem.
I know it's still cold there even though it's Spring time. I live in the South now for almost 20 years but still miss Chicago from time to time. This song brings me back.
How did Ian Levine and fiachra trench come up with so many fabulously melodic beautiful disco songs. That's just a rhetorical question of course they are and were very talented and had a totally great understanding and sense of what beautiful disco music was.
Thank you for sharing great music. I've been searching for this for quite sometime.. I belong to the Velvet Slum, Queue and Circus Era. Appreciate it, Shereight:)
In my opinion the best track off the album although Miami Heat Wave tended to get most of the hoopla at the time. all four tracks are awesome I just prefer this song the most. doesn't diminish my great liking of the other three. Ian Levine had lots of fabulous disco production that most of which never got the credit they deserved: Doris jones, 7th Avenue, Evelyn Thomas early on, croisette, James Wells and many others. Barbara Pennington and James Wells probably did reach the highest on the Disco charts but many of the others got disco Play and certainly appreciated by DISCO aficionados
I've been looking for these tracks, disco lullaby and songs by seventh avenue but can you improve your audio to full bandwith. I had a portion of disco lullaby with a full sound but i need the full track. Thanks and more power to you.
sa pagkakalam ko meron sa Yesteryears sa CP garcia; infront of Ministop; halos lahat ng trivia music meron sila doon all in VYNYL orginals doon ako nagparecord nyan sa 7th ave noon...
🎵from Chicago to the sky Fly high, fly high🎵 From Chicago to the sky Fly high 🎵 Fly into the air Soon I will be there 🎵🎶 From Chicago to the sky Fly high !!.......🎵
"Flying away to Paradise" could be literally true, there's a VOR-DME air navigation beacon south-east of LAX called Paradise (after a neighbouring golf course, IIRC). They say that only in S. California can you get a flight clearance "Demon to Limbo [both waypoints] to Paradise" !
This is good but surely a cover: I heard the song on TWA 10 years before Seventh Avenue formed. Anyone know who the original group was or, better yet, upload the original track?
Ang gaganda ng mga kanta nito. Nasasn ang mga full album nila? Wala akong makita.. Ang nakukuha ko lang yung puro 7th Avenue na heavy metal na wala namang kakwenta kwenta. Puro ingay at sakit ng ulo lang !!

Ahh memories. Swing the night away. A picture of 1970's elegance and uniqueness. Gentler times. Better days.

Perfectly mixed : medium-strength, non-overbearing drums, soft, subtle cymbals used sparingly.

Funny, I also heard this song on TWA on a flight from Chicago to LA!
I heard it on TWA London to LA in May 1979 !
