My wife and I have found your videos a delight. Some are of places that we last visited decades ago, having us reminisce and remark on the changes. We last visited Danger Point in 1973, at the height of the Oil Crisis. You could rive right up to the lighthouse then - there was a flock of geese running about - and we watched the oil tankers rounding the Cape at the time. You are surely giving a lot of armchair travellers great pleasure.
Was in the same area in February and March this year. What amazed me is the amount of people which have come back from a visit to NZ! We had the best fish and chips in Franskraal and Hermanus. Was an absolute delight travelling that road again with you! Thank you and wish you save travels!
My kind of paradise! That's why I live in Stilbaai - the epitome of beauty and serenity. This is truly God's painting. Your drome coverage captured the true essence of the splendour of this stretch of coastline. An awesome visit. Thank you Curtis and Sonia.
Hey Sonja and Curtis. So nice to go on this journey with you along the coast line. Love the lush grern trees, vegetation and that mountain. Loved the penguin place and kudos to those people taking care of the penguins. Safe travel mercies. Till the next one.❤
Thank you for a very nice and informative trip. I really enjoyed it. So many small coastal towns around us. A trip well done. I will be on board when you go to the next one
Memories again....Nice to be back at the sea again..and the places I know a bit better than others. We use to spend quite some time around there, especially Franskraal where some of our good friends lived. That was the time of "perlemoenpot" ,fish , braai..and braai again... and lots of liquid refreshments.. Time has passed and some has passed away too...but I will have to go back there again. Man..during December that Gansbaai is busy busy busy...I hope I see you going up to Baardskeerdersbos...
Hard to believe that you have never been to these beautiful places before! I had my 21st birthday lunch at De Kelders hotel. Because my birthday is just after Christmas, we got old dry leftover turkey to eat and the waitress dropped cutlery all over me twice. Not a very happy birthday! But what saved it was my swim down in the kelder! Total magic! It was an enchanted world. Love the geology! Rocks have always fascinated me ever since I was a little girl who pinched the rock samples out of my dad's old chemistry set and kept them as my treasure. I remember Uilenkraalmond as very beautiful. The penguins are so cute ❤❤
Hi you two! What an amazing quadruple holiday trip. Beautiful everywhere you look and interesting at every stop. This must be one of (if not the) most beautiful holiday destinations in our beloved country. Thank you for taking me along. Until next time - Keep safe!
Hi guys wonderful trip to see these small towns on Gaansbaai .I definitely got the holiday vibe and could almost smell the sea. Loved the penguins you have to smile. 4.6 billion years ago mind blowing geological path .spot on accommodation with millionaire views as the drone showed us .shark alley best in the world for cage diving. Southern most golf club looked amazing and the 19th hole looks great fun !!! The museum is in good nick shame about closing down but love all the history Hms Birkenhead and the guy who's grandad hunted seals and collected down for pillows. I must say the property's were absolutely top notch if they were in uk or Europe the would cost a fortune. The restaurant was excellent so interesting and the food right up my alley especially the real chips. Then the sun rise just topped it off with early morning fishing boats. Fantastic video thanks for taking me along cheerio till the next one
Lovely trip, i used to collect those Periwinkles to eat when i was about 10 years old. My Mom cooked them in hot water and we ate them with salt and vinegar. Was soo yummy makes my mouth water just remembering 😋
Wow, what a packed episode! Wonderful little towns you visited! It's quite a contrast to Pniel, with its rich Christian heritage, and rather sad to see that they've bought into the atheistic/evolutionist agenda, saying that we evolved over millions of years, rather than embracing the Biblical truth that God created the world in 6 days! The little towns seem like a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and we were impressed by the number of birds we can hear in the background of some segments (that seagull parking on the signboard was really nice!). Wonderful that you went to a restaurant that grows their own organic veg! It must be really good if Sonya reckons the pumpkin and spinach were the highlights of the meal! Music in the ears of a vegan, like myself!
Not all opinions, irrespective of the subject matter, are shared by everyone and I'm very well aware of that. Our channel is not about promoting or dismissing any particular school of thought, but instead about sharing our travels and what we find in the places we visit, with those who may be interested. Nothing more and nothing less. 🚙😊 Those folks at the Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary do fantastic work and we were happy to showcase their facility. 🐧🌍 The vegetables were indeed delicious that night, we've become increasingly aware that there is a void in our diet if we don't include veggies in our travel meals. 🍠🥬
Great memories coming back of visiting de kelders and popping in at all these little places. Beautiful part of our country this. I swear I could smell the sea as I watched you walk on the rocks.....😊loving the drone footage😊
Ons het lanklaas so lekker gelag soos vir Sonja se Putt Poet vanaand😂😂 Dankie vir die mooi program, jammer julle kon nie by Danger Point uitkom nie, dit is so mooi daar ❤

She was extremely apprehensive and that's why we did all the things, including dinner, before we headed home for the night. She was adamant that she only wanted to do the up-and-down one time. She managed quite well in the end and did them one at a time, with her stronger leg taking all the strain. 🥰
Great! Thank you!! 🥰

Loved the quadruple by pass of those villages. Just want to know, how did Sonia make it up all those steps at Shark Lodge ?
