If you take the time loop to its logical conclusion, Starlight was never going to win this, simply by virtue of Twilight and Spike being immortal and Starlight not. It's clear that Starlight is maintaining continuity of consciousness here, so when Twilight restarts the loop the Starlight of the previous loop is pulled along for the ride, which means everyone involved is getting just a little bit older every time. Eventually Starlight will die of old age and Twilight will be free to just sit back and let the timeline progress naturally, restoring everything back to normal.

I think it's pretty explicit that Applejack is where she is because of the war.
@ Well, Twilight didn't know about the war prior and should have wondered why Applejack was still at the farm (actually, how did she come up with her conclusion in the first place). That could be a trigger for the line, but aside from that, Twilight's thought process is very confusing.
*_"If at first you don't succeed, just use time travel to get rid of the ponies who stopped your plan in the first place....and wait...why am I doing this? My plan succeeded and no pony stopped me..and what happened to the land and why is there a new villain in charge?"_*
My headcanon is that Starlight didn't expect any great changes from stopping Twilight's friendships. If just hanging out with 5 strangers for a few hours allowed them to be close enough to activate the Elements of Harmony, then Starlight likely expected that some other group would take their place as the new Element bearers. Of course this then runs into the issue of the new Element Bearers coming to stop her plan, so she wouldn't be any better off if she was successful.
1:25 Actually, one of my favourite use of time travel is in Lesson Zero, because there is only one timeline and everything already happened. Time travel did not change anything and didn't create a time paradox. (Unless you start wondering how is it possible that Twilight time traveled, only because she did it...) 5:00 I had the same question before! How did look from the Starlight's perspective? Did she just be there seeing Twilight coming back and back and back again? Actually since Twilight was always coming to the same time, there should be more and more of her there each time (or maybe from the beggining), unless those are alternate universes, but that would mean there is many Twilights in different timelines and so many Starlights. Which of them is summoned with Twilight? What past does she remember? Or maybe she cast a spell so she is out of the time? tl:dr Time paradoxes everywhere.

Unless there's special rules for the Rainboom, I'm pretty sure RD is just physically immortal to all momentum-based fatalities. This shouldn't be one sin, but the culmination of several.
The biggest sin for this two-parter is the way they described it in Friendship Games. Twilight: I'm so sorry that I didn't get here sooner. I didn't get your messages until just now, because I was caught in this time travel loop, and, honestly, it was the *strangest thing that's ever happened to me!* She sounds almost giddy when she says it, too.
The continuity from Equestria Girls is rather dubious. Since Sci!Twi stole the magic of the portal and then opened many "rifts" going to different parts of Equestria (both at Day & Night on the same places); those were either displaced in time and/or going to alternate Equestrias. How do we know the portal is going to the same one than before? . The "backstory" about how Princess Twilight "defeated" the Storm King in "Spring Breakdown" is different than in the actual MLP Movie.
I believe the tree allowed Starlight to get to the map because it saw potential in her. After all, the map does call her on friendship missions later on, meaning that she has some slight connection to the elements, just like how the Student Six do. I think everyone who's connected to the elements in some form or another ultimately finds their way into each other's lives for the better. I know the pillars planted the tree, but I'm starting to think it was somewhat a deity of its own prior to its physical destruction.

1:11 - 1:22 Right, just throwing this out there: I think that's very much intentional. 2:35 The "Sonic Twi-Boom" is actually just an illusion. If you look closely, you can see her horn glow, causing the magical burst to happen whilst flying.
True. It is a fact that Twilight (even as an alicorn princess) would not be able to "kickstart" the same "chain reaction" that expanded all over Equestria [Rainbow Dash´s Sonic Rainboom was not that powerfull, but it is specifically "tunned" in a way that reacts with its laylines of magical power (Ponhenge its in a crossing of this lines)].
The bigger sin is how is Starlight not accefted be the negative future that occurs? The town she was in can't be that isolated from the rest of Equestria can it?
I'm guessing that the colors of Spike's egg are an in-universe Mandela Effect. (No, I'm not going to refute sins about this episode. _Both_ of us would get migraines.)
So did Twilight's friends not remember being part of different presents? And also, the amount of times Spike and Starlight break the only-pegasus-ponies-stand-on-clouds rule is absurd. At this rate unicorns could take over the world. I mean there's nothing special about pegusi if unicorns can do what they can and they can't do what unicorns can... This episode is so confusing with so many plotholes And also I love the sins videos, keep it up!
There's a cloudwalking spell that was revealed back during the Sonic Rainboom episode. And going by the cutie mark switch episode unicorns can also mess with weather. So, yeah, pegasi aren't all that special.

1:11 head canon That wasn't the future but rather a reality created by the tree of harmony to reform starlight That explains all the completely different realities, with only ONE villain in it
Starlight: Creates an unstable time vortex to disturb the past to affect the present and future, ultimately leading to a series of events that will- at minimum- lead to the creation of several timelines with doomed futures, or- should MLP follow the linear method of time travel mechanics- permanently screw up the future for everyone, the Tree of/The Map of Harmony included. The Tree of/Map of Harmony _"Oh yeah; it's all coming together."_
4:11 well, what do you want her to do? the mind-controlled ponies won't hold back against Celestia army, it would be stupid to do so when your adversarie gives its all and you do not. She could lose a lot of soldiers by acting this way. Also, you really think that the evil dictator who enslaved a entire empire is going to stop at that ? It's like saying that Poutine would stop a the Crimée.
An observation of mine: Dash only ever injures her right wing, in Read it and Weep, May the best pet win, and Wonderbolts academy BUT in the alternate war timeline, her left wing is the metal wing Missed opportunity for the headcanon that without her friends immediately bringing Dash to the hospital after she broke her wing (as the doc states when dash wakes up in the episode), they couldn’t save it, leaving her with the prosthetic.
4:22 in the exact moment when RD looks at the rock falling on her, we can see she has an open wound, in red. Ponies doesn't have rainbow-colored blood, everyone.
2:48 You really think THIS would kill her? Like, a lot of other things doesn't allow her to get even halfway to Rainboom and yet, you're saying that if she was stopped by magic she would die? Gravity, Air-pressure, Lack of air due to high speed, non of it but being safetly stoped by magic? JK, love ya dude... no homo.
If Rainbow Dash caused the sonic rainboom which helped everyone get their cutie marks and become friends, shouldn't she be the main protagonist instead of twilight? Just a thought

The bigger sin is how is Starlight not accefted be the negative future that occurs? The town she was in can't be that isolated from the rest of Equestria can it?
Thanks for making my day once a month
Did I just spend my entire week bingeing this series? Yes
Do I regret it? absolutely not.
3 spikes, pure brilliance
5:46 starlight levitating without using her horn :0000000
I'm guessing that the colors of Spike's egg are an in-universe Mandela Effect.
(No, I'm not going to refute sins about this episode. _Both_ of us would get migraines.)
At 1:36 I was like "huh, well that was expecting since this is a cartoon after all".
4:15
Celestia with her Canterlot voice:
I'VE CAUSED SEVERAL WAR CRIMES!
6:35 That just makes me sad.
What is it even referencing?
So did Twilight's friends not remember being part of different presents?
And also, the amount of times Spike and Starlight break the only-pegasus-ponies-stand-on-clouds rule is absurd. At this rate unicorns could take over the world. I mean there's nothing special about pegusi if unicorns can do what they can and they can't do what unicorns can...
This episode is so confusing with so many plotholes
And also I love the sins videos, keep it up!
You're right about confusing!
There's a cloudwalking spell that was revealed back during the Sonic Rainboom episode. And going by the cutie mark switch episode unicorns can also mess with weather. So, yeah, pegasi aren't all that special.
@@kyuubinaruto17 yeah, Rarity had no problem with the clouds, she could have cleared them, but for some reason chose not to
@@strawberrymilkshake3229 Her problem is that she was trying to do clouds in the mindset of a fashion designer. She made checkerboard patterns, and had some clouds make rain while some made snow. It's "fashionable" weather, but terrible for it's intended purpose.
@@kyuubinaruto17 yeah true

3:57 Applejack's face in that frame made me literally guffaw.
No not laugh - GUFFAW.
Why are people posting comments from 6 days ago im scared owo
Well, the episode IS about time travel
@@Mjauritz Nonono, you got a point...
The magic of ~friendship~ patreon
If Littleshy keeps making these videos once a month, 12 a year, it will be almost 9 years until he's finished the whole show. Wow. That's gonna take a while...
1:11 head canon
That wasn't the future but rather a reality created by the tree of harmony to reform starlight
That explains all the completely different realities, with only ONE villain in it
2:08 and spike fell to the earth. QUEUE CREDITS.
*Kaji chuu* dragons are tough.
* Queue Astronomia music *
Calling it now: the stinger for "Parental Glideance" will be a picture of Newborn Cuties Rainbow Dash in the photo album.
Starlight:
Creates an unstable time vortex to disturb the past to affect the present and future, ultimately leading to a series of events that will- at minimum- lead to the creation of several timelines with doomed futures, or- should MLP follow the linear method of time travel mechanics- permanently screw up the future for everyone, the Tree of/The Map of Harmony included.
The Tree of/Map of Harmony
_"Oh yeah; it's all coming together."_
An observation of mine:
Dash only ever injures her right wing, in Read it and Weep, May the best pet win, and Wonderbolts academy
BUT
in the alternate war timeline, her left wing is the metal wing
Missed opportunity for the headcanon that without her friends immediately bringing Dash to the hospital after she broke her wing (as the doc states when dash wakes up in the episode), they couldn’t save it, leaving her with the prosthetic.
4:22 in the exact moment when RD looks at the rock falling on her, we can see she has an open wound, in red.
Ponies doesn't have rainbow-colored blood, everyone.
5:55 he’s currently a stone statue in this time
I love how Twlight said whoops while spike was about to die and she didn't even go after him lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
2:48 You really think THIS would kill her?
Like, a lot of other things doesn't allow her to get even halfway to Rainboom and yet,
you're saying that if she was stopped by magic she would die?
Gravity, Air-pressure, Lack of air due to high speed, non of it but being safetly stoped by magic?
JK, love ya dude... no homo.
I’ve been waited for this video my whole LIFE!
MLP did the whole "Avengers: Endgame" time travel before it was cool.
I'm so thrilled to find a new EWW!!! Thank you, LittleshyFiM
1:37 - Long Starlight is looooooooong! (If you recognize this, you're oooooold)
God I haven’t watched these videos in forever. Thank celestia I subbed with all notifs :D
Also, AJ didn't go home as a filly, but maybe didn't want to get drafted, so she went back and made herself useful different way.
You: where is discord
Me:on my home screen, bursting with notifications
If Rainbow Dash caused the sonic rainboom which helped everyone get their cutie marks and become friends, shouldn't she be the main protagonist instead of twilight?
Just a thought
The biggest sin is that we have to wait an entire month for part 2
Man, are these episodes available earlier on patreon?? I gotta start saving up, bro
I don't know why but when twilight dropped spike the way she said oops just cracks me up
0:34 that explains so much.
Discord Isn't In This Episode Because He Was Still Turned To Stone In The Past And In The Futures, But In The Canon Timeline, He Was Freed From Stone.

@@AstralArbourSystem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
6:33 Well to be fair, Pony Life isn't THAT bad of a world, they got cell phones and ipads and magic potions and dolphins
yes! someone else who don't hate it as much as everyone, thank you
The sentence should be: "it isn't that bad of a world... except that they have cell phones and ipads..."

[SOVIET ANTHEM INTENSIFIES]
4:23 how are Maud and Pinkie flying? They are earth ponies. And it's not like they jumped, because they even made a Super-Man style entrance
They were "launched" by Shining Armor & Spearhead (maybe they are married with them in this timeline?).
@@adolfodef nah, look closely. They were near the ground and then they made an arch in the air like they were flying

Me: *GASP!*
Also me: Respect.

Sin: Stopping short of 42 sins for a Twilight episode.
The Pony Life In the ending though HAHAHAHA
100+ sins
i still like it though
i bet some people were allowed to view this before it was released.
Day 424. Ive watched the entire cinamare sins series 4 times over. I awoke today to see our lord and savior Littleshy had posted anew. There may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Love ya xD

Wow I was literally watching through these yesterday and didn't realize today would be the first of September
#17 missed chance for a season one differences bonus round!

CinemareSins has a better firewall and release schedule compared to FiM.
What? That’s as witty as I can get right now…
HOW DID YOU COMMENT FROM 6 DAYS AGO WTF
@@yshlvstm ikr. Its creepy. Even more than horror movies. And i never watched any.

This is the best part of the month's beginning.
5:26 How suddenly Starlight can stand in the clouds without falling? O-O
Probably a spell
