ESPN making Paul George an All-Star is ridiculous. "Podcast P" hasn’t done anything to deserve a max contract. His entire career has been about losing and fleecing franchises. When has Paul George ever led a team to success? Never. He’s gone from Indiana to OKC, then to the Pelicans, the Clippers, and now the Sixers-always with other stars around him-and still hasn’t made a single Conference Finals.
How did Daryl Morey not see this? Or was this just Morey’s way of getting back at Harden after being called untrustworthy? Feels like Morey used the Sixers’ money to fuel his ego because there’s no way Podcast P is worth a max deal. He’s averaging 14 points on 30% shooting, while rookie Jared McCain is putting up better numbers. It’s embarrassing.
